  • Sightless Passage
    • There are four Anode Beetles on sublevel 1, and they can all be found close to each other. They can all be found in the large section towards the east that contains an alternate base. Defeating the four of them unlocks the base and allows for the S.S. Beagle to fly over.

Dandori Challenge

  • Hotshock Canyon
    • There are three Anode Beetles in this challenge, and they can all be found close to each other. They are all located towards the south of the map, in the small section surrounded by some iron fences and a numbered gate. This section also contains a Sweet Torrent and some Red Pikmin sprouts. Defeating the three of them lowers the numbered gate.

  • Secluded Courtyard - Two fall from above
    • There are four Anode Dweevils on sublevel 2. They can all be found towards the north of the sublevel, with one appearing next to the Time Marker and the other appearing next to the castaway. The third Dweevil will fall from the sky as the player moves towards the Dweevil carrying the castaway. The fourth Dweevil is located on the opposite side of the dirt wall, on the side with the Disguised Delicacy. This Dweevil also falls from the sky, which happens when the Disguised Delicacy starts being carried.
  • Engulfed Castle - One falls from above
    • There are two Anode Dweevils on sublevel 3. The first Dweevil can be found north of the default base and east of the alternate base. It is located slightly north of the hanging Scaly Custard. The second Dweevil can be found in the section containing the alternate base. It will fall from the sky when the Memory Fragment (Bottom...Probably?) starts being carried.

  • Hole of Heroes
    • Two can be seen on sublevel 7, with the pair being on the surface.
  • Dream Den
    • Ten can be seen on sublevel 4, with them all being on the surface.
    • Three can be seen on sublevel 6, with the trio being on the surface.

Challenge Mode

  • Brawny Abyss
    • One can be seen on sublevel 1, with it being buried and holding The Key.
  • Sniper Room
    • One can be seen on sublevel 1, with it being buried and holding the Tear Stone
    • The sublevel's data makes it so 2 Armored Cannon Beetles (and 2 Tear Stones) should spawn in total, but no sublevel layout can ever accommodate them. All layouts end up generating exactly 1 (of each). Because the Beetle on "hard" enemy spots comes first in the sublevel data, that's the one that ends up being spawned.

2-Player Battle

    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this area. It can be found in the section reached by travelling through the tunnel west of the landing site. The Beetle will be at the top of the raised platforms. It holds a Velvety Dreamdrop and nearby is The cliff-top mystery or The clifftop mystery data file.

  • Team Monster Hunt
  • Channel Gone Dry
    • There are two Armored Cannon Beetles in this story's area. The first Cannon Beetle can be found towards the northwest, on a slope alongside a pair of Flighty Joustmites. The second Cannon Beetle is located along the pathway leading towards the top of the tree. This pathway requires the fragment bridge to be built. This pathway would lead to where the Scornet Maestro would be located during story mode. Each Armored Cannon Beetle holds a Golden Sunseed.

Mission Mode

Collect Treasures!

  • Twilight Hollow Remix
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this stage. It can be found towards the far west, in a raised section alongside an Orange Bulborb. It holds three Golden Grenades.
  • Beastly Caverns
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this stage. It is located in the easternmost cavern, alongside a Whiptongue Bulborb, a pair of Blue Candypop Buds, and a pile of 40 nuggets.
  • Clockwork Chasm
    • There are two Armored Cannon Beetles in this stage. The first Cannon Beetle can be found on a raised section southwest of the SPERO, reached by walking up multiple moving walkways. It is guarding three Juicy Gaggles and is near some Blue Pikmin sprouts. The second Beetle is located on a small, square-shaped platform towards the northeast. The platform is surrounded by some moving walkways.

Battle Enemies!

  • Tropical Wilds Remix
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this stage. It can be found towards the north of the map, across the body of water and on the small island. It is the island where the Slapstick Crescent would be discovered during story mode.
  • Beastly Caverns
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this stage. It is located in the northernmost cavern, at the top of the slope leading down to multiple Desiccated Skitter Leaves.

Bingo Battle

  • Arid Metropolis
    • There are eight Armored Cannon Beetles in layout C. The first four Cannon Beetles can be found in each corner of the map. The fifth Cannon Beetle is located in the alcove towards the southwest, the alcove west of the one containing some Purple Pikmin sprouts. The sixth Cannon Beetle can be found in an alcove towards the northeast, east of another alcove containing some Purple Pikmin sprouts. The seventh Cannon Beetle is located slightly northwest of the center of the stage, and the eighth Cannon Beetle can be found slightly southeast of the center of the stage. One will be next to an orange-colored tub holding the Face Wrinkler and the other will be next to a blue-colored tub holding the Slapstick Crescent.
  • Sandbox Kingdom
    • There are four Armored Cannon Beetles in layout A. The first two can be found near the center of the stage, on either side of where the Peckish Aristocrab spawns, with one being near the half buried Insect Condo and Sunseed Berry and the other being near the other half buried Insect Condo and the Yellow Marble. The other two can be found on either side of the large tunnel containing a Golden Sunseed.

  • Serene Shores - One appears after noon
    • There are four Armored Cannon Beetles in this area. The first Cannon Beetle is located directly east of the 'Blossoming Dunes' base, with it being on the sandcastle. The next two Cannon Beetles can be found on the layer below, on the sandcastle, north of 'The Sand Keep' base. The first of these two Cannon Beetles is adjacent to the raised platform holding the Stellar Extrusion, and the second is slightly east and near the raised ledge holding the pile of Gold Nuggets. The final Cannon Beetle, which spawns after noon, is located below the cave entrance for the Seafloor Resort. It is in front of the two hydro jellies blocking access to the Crimson Banquet.

  • Doppelgänger's Den
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle on sublevel 3. It can be found towards the southwest, guarding the alternate base surrounded by a moat of water. Defeating it unlocks the base and allows for the S.S. Beagle to fly over.
  • Cradle of the Beast
    • There are two Armored Cannon Beetles on sublevel 2. The first Cannon Beetle is located on the raised section directly north of the S.S. Beagle, fighting some Rock Pikmin. The second Cannon Beetle can be found on the other raised section north of the previous Cannon Beetle. This Cannon Beetle is next to the Porquillion that is fighting some more Rock Pikmin.
  • Subterranean Swarm
    • There are three Armored Cannon Beetles on sublevel 2. The first two can be found slightly north of the S.S. Beagle, on either side of the patch full of sticky mold. The third Cannon Beetle is located towards the east and on top of a tree trunk, guarding the Spouse Alert.
  • Cavern for a King
    • There are three Armored Cannon Beetles on sublevel 14. They can all be found in the large open arena towards the north, alongside a Horned Cannon Beetle. Defeating the three of them, and the Horned Cannon Beetle, lowers the nearby numbered gate.

Dandori Challenge

  • Toggle Training
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this challenge. It is located in the easternmost part of the map, alongside the Ambiguous Hostel and the Path Creator.
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle found in the 5th Story: The White Jewel. It can be found west of the S.S. Beagle, and slightly south, in the corner directly west of the Sphere of Desire. It is also north of the White Onion.

Dandori Battle

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

  • Sun-Speckled Terrace
    • There is one Armored Cannon Beetle in this tale's area. It is located on the raised section southeast of the 'Meandering Slope' base, guarded by a Horned Cannon Beetle. The Armored Cannon Beetle can be reached by pulling down the clipboard to act as a pathway.

    • An infinite amount will be created from the Empress Bulblax.

  • Burrow of Beginnings - Don't respawn
    • There are three Bulborb Larvae on sublevel 1, and they will all be circling the tree that Shepherd is clinging to. Once these three are defeated, they never respawn.
  • Cradle of the Beast
    • There are nine Bulborb Larva on sublevel 3, and they will be found in groups of three. The first trio can be found adjacent to the numbered gate, and the second trio are located adjacent to the dirt wall further north. The final trio can be found in the Empress Bulblax's arena, with them being slightly north of the crystal wall. Additionally, an infinite amount will be created from the Empress Bulblax.
  • Cavern for a King
    • On sublevel 17, an infinite amount will be created from the Empress Bulblax every time it hits the wall the second time during its rolling attack. Once the wall is hit, ten Bulborb Larvae will fall from above.

Night expeditions

During night expeditions, Bulborb Larvae spawn from dirt-mounds. This list will show where the dirt-mounds are located.

    • There are three Cloaking Burrow-nits in this area. The first Burrow-nit can be found north of the landing site, slightly past the black bramble gate. The second Burrow-nit is located nearby, with it being on the opposite side of the bag weighing 200. The final Burrow-nit can be found on the raised section near the electric gate. It's the electric gate blocking access to the Blue Onion.
  • Wistful Wild
    • There is one Cloaking Burrow-nit in this area. It is located towards the southeast of the landing site, on the opposite side of the stick bridge alongside a Fiery Blowhog and the Gatling Groink. If the bridge is built, it will spawn on it and attempt to unravel it.

  • Blossoming Arcadia
    • There are two Creeping Chrysanthemums in this tale's area. The first Chrysanthemum is located directly east of the 'Fragrant Ravine' base, alongside multiple Spectralids. It guards the Repair-Type Bolt. The second Chrysanthemum can be found north of the 'Misshapen Pond' base, alongside a Waddlequaff with a pile of raw materials between the two.

  • Primordial Thicket
    • There are two Doodlebugs in this area. The first Doodlebug is located towards the east, at the end of the northern path from 'The Autumnal Gully' base. It will be just past the pair of Moldy Slooches in the small crevice. The second Doodle bug can be found under a patch of sticky mold full of poisonous mushrooms towards the northeast. It is close to the clay mound and the Crunchy Deluge.

Caves

  • Subterranean Swarm
    • There is one Doodlebug on sublevel 4. It can be found towards the northwest, in a small alcove surrounded by multiple patches of sticky mold and a Swooping Snitchbug. The next sublevel entrance is located slightly west of the Doodlebug.

  • Twilight River
    • There are ten Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this area. Two can be found following the curved path east of the landing site, just before the lily pads. The final eight can all be found underneath one of the two clipboards in the second main segment of the area. They can all be found underneath the clipboard closest to the dirt wall and where the Scornets can be fought.

  • Land, Sea, and Sky
    • There are six Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this story's area. Three can be found directly in front of the story's landing site, or where the Peckish Aristocrab is found during story mode. Three more are located on the tiled area the blue bridge leads to. This area is where the Winged Onion is found, or where the Searing Acidshock is discovered during story mode. The three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs share this area with an Orange Bulborb.
  • Channel Gone Dry
    • There are six Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this story's area. The first one is found following the northern path from the story's base, underneath the bridge leading to the Scornet Maestro's arena, or where a Desiccated Skitter Leaf would be located during story mode. A second one is found north of the previous Dwarf Orange Bulborb, between two cinder blocks and to the right of the reinforced wall. A third one is found to the left of the reinforced wall. Two more can be found following the southern path from the base, leading to where the Burrowing Snagret is fought in story mode. The final Dwarf Orange Bulborb is located towards the south of the map between the two Orange Bulborbs. It is close to where the Toady Bloyster is found in story mode.
  • Looking for Louie
    • There are five Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this story's area. The first Dwarf Orange Bulborb is found close to where Olimar starts in the level, just outside the area the Yellow Onion is in. The second and third Dwarf Orange Bulborbs are found just outside the area Louie starts in, close to the Red Onion on either side. The final two are found behind the reinforced wall near Olimar.
  • Big Fruit Carnival
    • There are two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this story's area. They are both located inside of the cave, alongside an Orange Bulborb, in the northeast part of the map. It's where the Bug-Eyed Crawmad holding the Stellar Extrusion is located in story mode.
  • Another Part Found
    • There are four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this story's area. Three can be found scattered around the small segment across from the unbuilt bridge alongside one Swooping Snitchbug. The final Dwarf Orange Bulborb is located towards the south of the map, behind the dirt wall in the previous segment. It shares this space with an Orange Bulborb containing a bomb rock.

  • Tropical Forest Remix
    • There are two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage, and they are both found in the northernmost part of the map, sharing the space with an Orange Bulborb, a pile of Gold Nuggets, and two White Candypop Bud.
  • The Rustyard
    • There are two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is found following the path from where Alph starts, past the Cupid's Grenade and the pile of bridge fragments. The second one is found next to where Brittany starts, between the two Dapper Blobs.
  • Clockwork Chasm
    • There are four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is found directly next to the base, on the southern path next to the yellow and blue switch. The next two are found on the platform between the sets of moving walkways west of the previously mentioned pathway. An Armored Cannon Larva will be shooting rocks down one of the walkways. The final one is located north of the crystal wall, which is close to a body of water and a Sunseed Berry.

Battle Enemies!

  • Tropical Forest
    • There are five Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. Three can be found towards the east of the map; one being in the area full of dead leaves and two Orange Bulborbs and the other two being found just before entering that area. The final two are located slightly north of the body of water, along the path between the dirt wall and the crystal wall.
  • Tropical Wilds Remix
    • There are six Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is located slightly north of where Alph, the Master Onion and the SPERO are. An additional two are located slightly west of base, where the Dawn Pustules are located in story mode. A fourth one is located east of the Blue Onion, down the sloped path and near some Blue Pellet Posies. The final two are located north of the Blue Onion, directly across the unbuilt bridge.
  • Garden of Hope Remix
    • There are five Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. Two can be found along the thin pathway, which would lead to the Armored Mawdad's arena in story mode. At the end of the path is an Orange Bulborb. The final three are located towards the east of the map, along the slope where the Sunseed Berry and pile of orange bridge fragments are in story mode.
  • Twilight River Remix
    • There are two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is located on the path directly east of the Rock Onion. The second one is located south of the Rock Onion, across the blue bridge.
  • Formidable Oak Remix
    • There are nine Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. Four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, in two pairs, can be located on either side of where Alph starts in the level. The final five are all found along the path east of where Brittany starts, the path the iron ball can be rolled down.
  • Fortress of Festivity
    • There are three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage, and they are all found together towards the northeastern part of the map. They are on top of a present below the three Dwarf Bulbears.
  • The Rustyard
    • There are three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is found adjacent to the Blue Onion, towards the east. A second one is found adjacent to the Rock Onion, close to the crystal wall. The final one is found directly northeast of the Rock Onion.
  • Forgotten Cove
    • There are eleven Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this stage. A pack of three can be found south of the Blue Onion, grouped next to an orange seashell. Three more can be found east of the Master Onion, one being next to the dirt wall and the other two being down the sloped path in an area close to a crystal full of three bomb rocks. An additional three are located south of the area, west of the reinforced wall, and next to an Orange Bulborb. The final two are located towards the northwest of the map, next to the large body of water and the Burgeoning Spiderwort.

Bingo Battle

  • Shaded Garden
    • There are four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs found in layout C. They are all located in the center of the stage, with two on either side of the Orange Bulborb.
  • Twisted Cavern
    • There are two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs found in layout C. The first Dwarf Orange Bulborb can be found near the westernmost segment, with it being in the middle of the path connecting said segment to the larger central segment, containing the Bug-Eyed Crawmad. The first Dwarf Orange Bulborb can be found near the easternmost segment, with it being in the middle of the path connecting said segment to the larger central segment, also containing the Bug-Eyed Crawmad.
  • Parched Brook
    • There are three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs found in layout A. They can all be found on the grassy section that contains the Insect Condo. This section also holds a Bulborb.
    • There are three Dwarf Orange Bulborbs found in layout C. They are all located on the grassy section containing the Zest Bomb, as well as an Orange Bulborb.

Pikmin 4

  • Kingdom of Beasts
    • There are four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs on sublevel 2. One is located below the ledge opposite the iron fence, next to a bush (of what appears to be Barrenwort) hiding ten Mitites. Two more Dwarf Orange Bulborbs are found east, fighting five wild Rock Pikmin. The final Dwarf Orange Bulborb is located, instead of on right, left of the bush - following the slightly curved path - and can also be seen fighting five wild Rock Pikmin.
  • Plunder Palace
  • Cavern for a King
    • There are six Dwarf Orange Bulborbs on sublevel 4, and they are all found along the path the Arctic Cannon Beetle's snowball rolls down. Three are found in between the end of the path and the clipboard. A fourth one is found at the end of the path's first bend. The last two are found at the end of the path, next to a pair of nectar eggs.

Dandori Challenge

  • Cliff-Hanger's Hold
    • There are five Dwarf Orange Bulborbs in this challenge. Three of them are found directly north of where the player starts the level, in the segment south of the electric gate. The final two are located in the segment north of the previously mentioned electric gate, alongside an Orange Bulborb.
  • Trial of the Sage Leaf
    • There is one Dwarf Orange Bulborb in the 1st Story: Bulblaxes. It is located in the southwestern segment of the challenge, on the high ledge alongside an Orange Bulborb.

  • Kingdom of Beasts
    • There is one Empress Bulblax on sublevel 3. It can be found in a long, open, arena directly in front of the S.S. Beagle. It holds a castaway, and once defeated the nearby numbered gate lowers.
  • Cradle of the Beast - Births infinite Bulborb Larvae
    • There is one Empress Bulblax on sublevel 3. It is located in an open arena towards the northeast, requiring the nearby dirt wall to be destroyed in order to reach said arena. It holds five Stately Rubber Cuties, and once defeated the nearby numbered gate lowers.
  • Cavern for a King - Spawns 10 Bulborb Larvae after every second roll hit the wall (infinite)
    • There is one Empress Bulblax on sublevel 17. It can be found in a small arena towards the northwest of the base, with a geyser in the northwestern corner and another in the southeastern corner. It holds a Fire-Breathing Feast, and once defeated the nearby numbered gate lowers.

Fiery Bulblax

  • Valley of Repose - Will reappear if defeated but the treasure isn't collected
    • There is one Fiery Bulblax in this area. It is located in the northern part of the area, blocked off by a white bramble gate. In this northern segment, the Bulblax can be found towards the west and across the small body of water. It holds the Temporal Mechanism.
  • Perplexing Pool - Despawns after 30 and never respawns after being defeated
    • There is one Fiery Bulblax in this area. It can be found directly north of the landing site, in front of the poison white bramble gate blocking access to the Yellow Onion. Once defeated it never respawns, or after day 30 it despawns.

  • Giant's Hearth
    • There are two Fiery Bulblaxes in this area. The first Bulblax can be found towards the southeast of the 'Line of Logs' base, on the raised section just south of the sprinkler. It is near the clay valve which is used to turn off said sprinkler. The second Bulblax is located towards the center of the map, with it guarding the 'Abandoned Throne' base.

    • Line of Logs
      • There are three Fiery Bulblaxes in the Line of Logs expedition. The first Fiery Bulblax is located towards the northeast, adjacent to a clay valve and a Dandori Challenge cave entrance. The second Fiery Bulblax can be found slightly southwest of the previous Bulblax, with it being in the section with the sprinkler and the bonfire altar. During the day, a Bug-Eyed Crawmad would be located here. The third and final Fiery Bulblax is located south of the Abandoned Throne base, with it being between two piles of glow pellets. This Fiery Bulblax is near a buried Emperor Bulblax.

Areas

  • Giant's Hearth
    • There are three Fiery Dweevils in this area. The first Dweevil can be found south of the 'Abandoned Throne' base, being guarded by a Fiery Bulblax. The Dweevil will be adjacent to the nearby iron fence that leads to the inside of the hearth. The inside of the hearth is where the other two Fiery Dweevils are located, alongside an Iridescent Glint Beetle and an unlit bonfire altar.

  • Engulfed Castle - One falls from above
    • There are two Fiery Dweevils on sublevel 2. They can both be found in the large segment west of the base, with one being on the raised section, only accessible to Oatchi, containing a switch, and the other being near the iron fences. The one near the iron fences will fall from the sky when an object is being carried close to where it falls (such as the castaway or the Pearly Clamclamp).
  • Seafloor Resort
    • There are two Fiery Dweevils on sublevel 2. They are both located on the island towards the east of the base, each carrying a Planetary Rubber Cutie.
  • Ultimate Testing Range
    • There are two Fiery Dweevils on sublevel 3. They can both be found on the section northwest of the base, alongside a geyser and two eggs. One of the two Dweevils will be carrying a Disk of Surprising Wisdom.

    • There is one Gatling Groink in this area. It is located towards the southeast of the landing site, on the opposite side of the stick bridge alongside a Fiery Blowhog and a Cloaking Burrow-nit. However, due to the Groink's ability to roam anywhere in the area, it may not be here.

  • Subterranean Complex
    • Two can be seen on sublevel 7, with one being stationary and the other being free-roaming. The stationary Groink holds the Indomitable CPU.
  • Cavern of Chaos
    • Two can be seen on sublevel 8, with them both being free-roaming.
  • Dream Den
    • One can be seen on sublevel 2, with it being stationary. It holds the Manual Honer.
    • One can be seen on sublevel 10, with it being free-roaming.

  • Plunder Palace
    • There are two Giant Breadbug's on sublevel 5. The first Giant Breadbug can be found on the raised pathways in the center of the map, accessible by building the clay mound. This Giant Breadbug will be dragging around leafling in a loop, until the clay mound is built. Once built, it will drag it to the nearest hiding spot. The second Giant Breadbug is located in the middle of the raised pathways, near the lone Dwarf Bulbear, the Perforated Raft and the aforementioned clay mound. The first Giant Breadbug holds three Disk of Angry Wisdoms, and the second Giant Breadbug holds the S.S. Berry.

    • There is one Greater Spotted Jellyfloat on sublevel 2. It can be found on the westernmost island that containing the next sublevel entrance, a pile of raw materials, and a geyser. The Jellyfloat holds a castaway.
    • There is one Greater Spotted Jellyfloat on sublevel 3. It is located towards the north of the sublevel, adjacent to the dirt wall blocking access to the next sublevel entrance.
  • Ultimate Testing Range
    • There is one Greater Spotted Jellyfloat on sublevel 4. It can be found directly north of the base, on the section containing the switch and the clay bridge. However, it only appears once any Pikmin or leaders enter its territory.

    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in this area. They are both located inside of the cave east of the landing site, inside a body of water. This cave contains the Dusk Pustules and the Bug-Eyed Crawmad that holds the Stellar Extrusion.

  • Creature Hunting
    • There is one Hermit Crawmad in this story's area. It can be found in the main segment, towards the northeast of the dried moat. It is slightly east of the story mode's landing site, and it is near some Red Pikmin sprouts.
  • Land, Sea, and Sky
    • There is one Hermit Crawmad in this story's area. It is located across the red fragment bridge from this story's landing site. It is near some blue bridge fragments, and is where the Dwarf Bulborb and White Spectralids would be during story mode.
  • First Part Found
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in this story's area. They can both be found towards the south of the area, alongside some Male Sheargrub, with them all being directly in front of the electric gate that is blocking access to the SPERO.
  • Looking for Louie
    • There is one Hermit Crawmad in this story's area. It is located in the second main segment, in front of the electric gate towards the northwest of where Olimar and the Yellow Onion both start.
  • Big Fruit Carnival
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in this story's area. They can both be found directly north of the landing site, across the body of water and near a bundle of hay. It's where the two piles of blue bridge fragments would be during story mode.

    • There is one Hermit Crawmad in this stage. It can be found directly west of the SPERO and slightly east of the Heroine's Tear, which is on top of an orange tub.
  • Clockwork Chasm
    • There is one Hermit Crawmad in this stage. It is located inside the body of water slightly east of the SPERO. It is guarding a Golden Sunseed.

  • Clockwork Chasm
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in this stage. They can both be found on the raised section towards the southeast of the SPERO, blocked off by a reinforced wall. The two patches of dirt in this metal-covered section each hold a nest.

Bingo Battle

  • Stagnant Sea
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in layout B. They are both located in the center of the map, with one between the dirt wall and the fragment bridge on the western side of the map, and the other between the dirt wall and the fragment bridge on the eastern side of the map.
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in layout C. The first Crawmad can be found towards the east, adjacent to the boot, and the second Crawmad is located towards the west, adjacent to another boot.
  • Parched Brook
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in layout B. They are both located in the dried moat, with one underneath the northern fragment bridge and one underneath the southern fragment bridge. Each Crawmad is inside of a small pond.

Pikmin 4

  • Serene Shores
    • There are three Hermit Crawmads in this area. The first Crawmad is located slightly southeast of the 'Water's Edge' base, and the second Crawmad can be found in the body of water slightly southwest of the first Crawmad. This second Crawmad is near multiple other enemies such as the Pricklepuff and Skeeterskate. The third and final Crawmad is located towards the northwest of the area, in the section accessible by completing the Engulfed Castle. In this section, the Crawmad can be found towards the east, on a raised platform that can be reached via the nearby geyser. It guards the Heroine's Tear.

Caves

  • The Mud Pit
    • There are two Hermit Crawmads on sublevel 3. They are both located directly north of the base, with one towards the southwest and the other towards the northeast. They share this muddy space with a Bug-Eyed Crawmad, which holds a castaway. These three Crawmads guard the Life Station, and defeating all three lower the nearby numbered gate.

    • There are two Hermit Crawmads in this tale's area. They can both be found east of the 'Water's Edge' base, with one slightly north of the Repair-Type Bolt, and one slightly south of the ship part.

    • There are two Hydro Dweevils on sublevel 3. They can both be found towards the southwest, in the oval-shaped section full of water. One of the Dweevils will be in the water and the other Dweevil will be underneath the Dusk Pustules that are hanging from a cobweb.

    • There is one Hydro Dweevil in this tale's area. It is located towards the northeasternmost section of the map, in the raised section just north of the stovetop. This section holds a Extraordinary Bolt and required a clay mound to be built.

    • There are two Iridescent Glint Beetles in this area. The first Beetle is located on the flower pot directly west of the landing site, next to the body of water.   • Primordial Thicket
    • There is one Iridescent Glint Beetle in this area. It is located north of The Autumnal Gully base, through the tunnel and slightly east. It is just south of some sticky mold full of poisonous mushrooms.

    • There is one Iridescent Glint Beetle on sublevel 12. It is located towards the far north, with it being in an alcove adjacent to the exit fan. The Beetle is in the large section of the sublevel full of Spectralids.

  • Ultimate Testing Range
    • There are three Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats on sublevel 4. The first Jellyfloat can be found west of the base, across the moving walkway. This Jellyfloat may be holding 5 wild Winged Pikmin. The other two Jellyfloats are located northeast of the base, in the section containing a pile of raw materials. One of these Jellyfloats may also be holding 5 wild Winged Pikmin, and one of these two Jellyfloats will fall from the sky.

    • There are two Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats in this challenge. The first Jellyfloat is located on the raised platform north of the base, with it being between the pile of Gold Nuggets and the Slapstick Crescent. The second Jellyfloat can be found directly east of the base, past the iron fence that can be lowered. Each Jellyfloat will be holding 5 wild Yellow Pikmin.
  • Strategic Freezeway
    • THere is one Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat in this challenge. It can be found directly north of the base, in the section containing an unlit bonfire altar, as well as a pile of Gold Nuggets and the Daughter of the Earth. This Jellyfloat will be holding 5 wild Red Pikmin.
  • Trial of the Sage Leaf
    • There is one Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat found in the Final Story: The Purple Key. It is located in the section north of the base, accessed through the nearby tunnel, and it will be towards the west, next to the Purple Candypop Bud. This Jellyfloat will be holding 5 wild Ice Pikmin.

    • There is one Man-at-Legs in this story's area. It can be found towards the north of the area and on top of the kitchen island east of the Feasting Center base. The Man-at-Legs will towards the south on the table, with it being surrounded by multiple breakable pots. It holds the Chronos Reactor.

Mitite

Pikmin 2

Mitites can appear inside any nectar egg in the game, including eggs carried by Honeywisps. Once an egg breaks, there is a 5% chance that a group of 10 will come out. Besides that, Mitites burrow from under the ground when approached, or when called by an Emperor Bulblax's scream, in specific caves, normally in dead ends.

The second group can be found inside a patch of dried plants slightly east of the Abandoned Throne base, with the patch being directly underneath the clipboard.
  • Primordial Thicket
    • There are four groups of Mitites in this area. The first group is inside of the Doodlebug towards the northeast and adjacent to the clay mound. The second group is located inside of a nectar egg guarding The Maple Bridge base. The third group is inside of another nectar egg slightly northeast of the Puffstool's arena. The egg is slightly north of the climbing wall. The fourth and final group can be found underneath a patch of sticky mold along the southern path from The Sylvan Gate base. It's the patch closest to the base, and it is being guarded by a Grubchucker.

    • There are three Orange Bulborbs in this stage. The first two Orange Bulborbs are located in the easternmost section of the map, the section full of dead leaves. The two Orange Bulborbs share the space with a Dwarf Orange Bulborb. The third one is found near the crystal wall, on the opposite side of where the Red Onion is located.
  • Thirsty Desert
    • There is one Orange Bulborb in this stage. It is found on the easternmost part of the map, directly east of the Red Onion and near a crystal wall.
  • Tropical Wilds Remix
    • There are three Orange Bulborbs in this stage. The first Orange Bulborb is located where it would be located during Story Mode, close to where the two Skutterchucks are found. The second Orange Bulborb can be found near where the reinforced wall that gives access to one of the Shaggy Long Legs' arenas is during Story Mode. The final one is located where the Peckish Aristocrab can be found in Story Mode, in the body of water up north close to the Slapstick Crescent.
  • Garden of Hope Remix
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in this stage. One is located near the cinder block blocking access to the path to the Armored Mawdad's arena. Another one can be found near where the Sunseed Berry on the ledge near the bridge fragments would be located in Story Mode.
  • Formidable Oak Remix

    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in this stage. The first Orange Bulborb is located near the southwest part of the map, adjacent to a dirt wall and a reinforced wall. The other Orange Bulborb can be found near the northern part of the map, close to a Burgeoning Spiderwort on the west side of the map.

    • There is one Orange Bulborb in layout C. It spawns in the center of the stage, surrounded by four Dwarf Orange Bulborbs; two on each side.
  • Stagnant Sea
    • There is one Orange Bulborb in layout A. It can be found on the wooden path between the two islands contains the two colored-Onions. This path is blocked by dirt walls on either end.
  • Twisted Cavern
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in layout C. The first Orange Bulborb spawns in the large, middle, section, in an alcove. If the section is towards the north, it will be in the western alcove (the alcove closer to the cyan-colored Onion). If the section is towards the south, it will be in the eastern alcove (the alcove closer to the pink-colored Onion). The opposite alcove has a Bulborb. It guards a Yellow Marble. The second Orange Bulborb can be found in the center of the smaller middle section, near multiple Pikmin sprouts.
  • Rusted Labyrinth
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in layout C. The first Orange Bulborb can be found directly north of the cyan-colored Onion, and the second Orange Bulborb is located directly south of the pink-colored Onion. Each Orange Bulborb is guarding a large crystal containing either a Face Wrinkler or a Zest Bomb.
  • Jigsaw Fortress
    • There is one Orange Bulborb in layout A. It is located on the lowest layer of the Fortress, in the corner closest to the Onion on the floor. It guards multiple Marbles and a Portable Sunset.
  • Parched Brook
    • There is one Orange Bulborb in layout A. It spawns in the raised section the Citrus Lump is discovered on; on top of the two pieces of wood.
    • There is one Orange Bulborb in layout C. It spawns in the raised section the Zest Bomb is discovered on; on top of the stone podium.
  • Sandbox Kingdom
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in layout A. The first one is towards the southwest, near a sand-filled bucket, and the second one is towards the northeast, near another sand-filled bucket. One bucket will hold a Face Wrinkler, and the other will hold a Citrus Lump.
  • Corroded Maze
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in layout B. The first is directly east of the cyan-colored Onion, and the second is directly west of the pink-colored Onion. Each one is lying on a metal pathway.
    • There are four Orange Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb is south of the cyan-colored Onion, and the second Bulborb is north of the pink-colored Onion. The third and fourth Orange Bulborbs can be found in the center of the stage, with one north of the northern dirt wall, and one south of the southern dirt wall. They are guarding the central section containing a Red and Blue Marble.
  • Jigsaw Colosseum
    • There are two Orange Bulborbs in layout B. The first Orange Bulborb can be found in the corner of the stage where the floor is a mix between pink and green. It will be inside of the square-shaped section with a Spotty Bulbear nearby. The second Orange Bulborb is located in the middle of the pink-colored jigsaw floor, near a large crystal containing a Citrus Lump.

    • There are three Ravenous Whiskerpillars in this area. They are all located northeast of the landing site, in the section with the two Burgeoning Spiderworts and a Fiery Blowhog. These will also emerge once the Spiderworts have grown berries.
  • Wistful Wild
    • There are two Ravenous Whiskerpillars in this area. They can all be found directly south of the landing site, in the section with the three Burgeoning Spiderworts. Just like the other two groups, these will only emerge once the Spiderworts start growing berries.

    • There are six Skitter Leaves in this area. Three Skitter Leafs are located northwest of the landing site, between the Citadel of Spiders and the water body. Both Skitter Leaves will be inside the water, with one on the southern side of the wall and the other on the other side. The sixth and final Skitter Leaf can be found directly south of the landing site, with it being on the island that contains the Onion Replica.

    • There are two Skitter Leaves in this area. They can both be found southwest of the main segment, in the water just before the pathway leading to the Calcified Crushblat's segment.
  • Garden of Hope - Two spawn after the Data Glutton is collected
    • There are four Skitter Leaves in this area, with two spawning the day after the Data Glutton has been collected. The first two can be found directly east of the landing site, in the section behind the crystal wall. They are near the edge of the water body and near a Burgeoning Spiderwort (that also spawns after the Data Glutton is collected). The other two Skitter Leaves are located towards the southwest, in the small section below the ledge that contains the Sunseed Berry (the first fruit found in the game). These two Skitter Leaves spawn after the Data Glutton is detected. However, every Skitter Leaf (and the aforementioned Spiderwort) despawn when the Food Thief is collected.

    • There are four Skitter Leaves in this story's area. They can all be found in the area's main segment. A pair of Skitter Leaves are located at the bottom of the stationary paper bag west of the Story Mode's landing site, alongside some Dwarf Bulborbs. The third Skitter Leaf can be found east of the previous two, adjacent to the crystal wall. The fourth and final Skitter Leaf can be found slightly east of the third Skitter Leaf, in the now-drained water body.

    • There are four Skitter Leaves in this stage. They are all located in the eastern cavern, the one with the Master Onion. Two Skitter Leaves will be on the left side of the Onion, and the other two will be on the right side.

    • There are three Skitter Leaves in layout A. The first Skitter leaf can be found in the small water body between the two Onion-populated island. It shares this space with multiple Wolpoles. The second Skitter Leaf is located on the central island, at the edge of the island—a direct line from the Dusk Pustules. The third and final Skitter Leaf is located in the body of water with the upright boot. It's the section with the Red Marble. The Skitter Leaf is adjacent to the 5-Pellet Posy.
  • Blooming Terrace
    • There are four Skitter Leaves in layout A. The first two Skitter Leaves are located in the northeasternmost corner, adjacent to a Bulborb. The other two Skitter Leaves can be found in the southwesternmost corner, adjacent to another Bulborb.
  • Buried Pond
    • There is one Skitter Leaf in layout A. Depending on the map layout, the Skitter Leaf will either in the northeastern section, or the southwestern section. It will be in the section containing the Red Marble and the Zest Bomb. The other section, containing a Blue Marble and a Face Wrinkler, will contains the Desiccated Skitter Leaf.

  • Blossoming Arcadia
    • There are five Skitter Leaves in this area. The first Skitter Leaf is located west of the Fragrant Ravine base, with it being near the pile of 12 raw materials underneath the clay bridge. The remaining four Skitter Leaves can be found between the Fragrant Ravine and the Misshapen Pond bases. Two of these Skitter Leaves will be near another clay bridge, and the other two will be in the water near the Flarlic.

  • Secluded Courtyard - 10 fall from the sky
    • There are twelve Skitter Leaves on sublevel 1. The first two can be found slightly northeast of the base, between the hanging Citrus Lump and the small water body containing a pair of Wolpoles. The final ten Skitter Leaves (all of which fall from the sky) can be found towards the far northeast, in the section holding the Universal Rubber Cutie. They all fall once the player gets close enough to the treasure.

    • There is one Toady Bloyster in layout C. It is located in the center of the stage, and it will move in circles inside of the ring of water. The island in the center of this water ring contains a Portable Sunset.

    • There are four Toady Bloysters in this area. The first Toady Bloyster can be found between the Blossoming Dunes and the Water's Edge bases. The Bloyster is near the dirt wall that blocks the Fishy Bed from being collected, and it is also near a Hermit Crawmad. The second and third Toady Bloysters are located in the body of water east of the Water's Edge base, with one being adjacent to the iron fence and the other to some hydro jellies. The one closer to the hydro jellies only appears after noon. The fourth and final Toady Bloyster can be found further east of the previous two, in the larger body of water and south of the island holding the Giant's Fossil.

Night expeditions

  • Serene Shores
    • Water's Edge
      • There are five Toady Bloysters in the Water's Edge expedition. The first Toady Bloyster is located directly east of the blue Lumiknoll, with it being on the island connected to the clay bridge. The Giant's Fossil would be located here during the day. The second Toady Bloyster can be found north of the previous Bloyster, in the small and sandy arena. This arena would contain the Princess Pearl during the day. The third Toady Bloyster is located in the body of water towards the southeast, the water body that holds the Dawn Pustules and Zest Bomb during the day. The fourth and fifth Toady Bloysters are located towards the southwest, where the Blossoming Dunes base is located. The pair of Bloysters will be slightly north of the base.
    • The Sand Keep
      • There are three Toady Bloysters in The Sand Keep expedition. The first Toady Bloyster can be found slightly southeast of the Lumiknoll, with it being at the top of the slope leading to the Below-Grade Discotheque cave entrance. This slope is full of Water Dumples. The second Toady Bloyster is located slightly northeast of the Lumiknoll, with it being on the layer below of the sandcastle. During the day, an Armored Cannon Larva would be located here. The third and final Toady Bloyster can be found directly south of the Tricknoll. The Bloyster is between a pile of 15 glow pellets and a water spout.

There are one hundred and forty Ujadani in this area. They will be in two groups of seventy. The first group can be found next to the Hole of Heroes cave entrance. The second group is located in the black stone area to the right of the black bramble gate leading to the Dream Den, on the edge of the clearing of Creeping Chrysanthemums.

Unmarked Spectralids

  • Awakening Wood - All Unmarked Spectralids will be yellow
    • There are eight Unmarked Spectralids in this area, which will be in two groups of four. The first group can be found hidden inside of the Margaret below the ledge holding the Sunseed Berry. The second group is located inside of the Margaret adjacent to the stick bridge that creates a pathway from the landing site to the Geographic Projection.

    • One can be seen on every sublevel of the Submerged Castle. The Waterwraith will spawn after 5 minutes have passed for the first 4 sublevels. For the final sublevel, it will spawn once the player enters its arena, similar to how other bosses spawn in their caves. It holds the Professional Noisemaker

Challenge Mode

  • Bully Den
    • Two can be seen on sublevel 1. They both spawn once the timer reaches 270. One Waterwraith holds the Silencer, and the other Waterwraith holds The Key.

Pikmin 4

  • Engulfed Castle
    • One can be seen on every sublevel of the Engulfed Castle. Just like the Submerged Castle, the Waterwraith will spawn after 5 minutes have passed for the first 4 sublevels. For the final sublevel, it will spawn once the player enters its arena. The Waterwraith holds the Glinty Circular Disc, and defeating it lowers the nearby numbered gate. This gate allows for the exit fan to be used.
  • Cavern for a King
    • There are two Waterwraiths in sublevel 16. Unlike other instances of the Waterwraith, these two spawn immediately; one after the other. One of the Waterwraiths holds the Connection Detector, and defeating both of them lowers the nearby numbered gate, allowing for the next sublevel to be entered.

    • There is one Waterwraith found in this story. It spawns immediately near the Purple Onion. Defeating this Waterwraith drops nothing, but it can make collecting the Purple Onion quicker.

    • There are four Watery Blowhogs in this stage. The first Water Blowhog is located east of the SPERO, between a crystal wall and a dirt wall alongside a Fiery Blowhog. The remaining three Watery Blowhogs can be found in the section behind the previously mentioned crystal wall.
  • Forgotten Cove
    • There is one Watery Blowhog in this stage. It is located west of the SPERO, on the section between the two hay mound locations.

    • There are two Watery Blowhogs in layout B. Both Blowhogs are located near the bottom corner of the fortress, specifically the corner on the green jigsaw floor, which is closest to the Onion on the floor. One Blowhog is on each side of this fortress's corner.

    • There is one Watery Blowhog in layout A. It is located on the grassy side of the map, on the raised section behind the reinforced wall. This raised section holds an Insect Condo on a rocky podium.
    • There are two Watery Blowhogs in layout B. They are both located on the side that has the dirty terrain. The two Blowhogs can be found adjacent to the wooden chunk that a Red Marble rests on top of.
    • There is one Watery Blowhog in layout C. It can be found on the non-grassy side of the map, on the raised segment behind the dirt wall. This raised section has a Face Wrinkler on top of a wooden platform.

  • Ultimate Testing Range
    • There are two Watery Blowhogs on sublevel 2. The first Blowhog is located slightly northwest of the base, at the bottom of the straight path leading north. The second Blowhog can be found towards the northeast alongside a Miniature Snootwhacker. These two enemies are between a pair of iron fences.
