The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Hidden Garden is the twenty-third level in Pikmin 2's Challenge Mode. While only two Bulbmin are initially available, there are numerous Queen Candypop Buds that allow for you to create many more Pikmin.

This challenge has no lethal threats. A pink flower ranking is guaranteed unless any sprouts are left behind.

Sublevel 1[edit]

This challenge's layout is identical to the Shower Room's fourth sublevel. The Key is inside one of the Skitter Leaves. Fighting them with only your two Bulbmin will be rather annoying, so you'll probably want to use some of the Queen Candypop Buds to produce more Pikmin to simplify it. There are six, so you'll be able to produce quite a few Pikmin. Given that the floor has no hazards, you'll only really need to grow Red Pikmin (to kill the Skitter Leaves quicker) or a few Yellow Pikmin (to hit the Unmarked Spectralids).

You'll need to kill every Skitter Leaf if you're aiming for a high score, as all of them will drop treasure.
