The Tear Stone (ティア・ストーン?, lit.: "Tear Stone") is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is a tear-shaped sapphire gem. The treasure is found in the Bulblax Kingdom on Sublevel 2 and is located on a ledge. Yellow Pikmin aren't necessary to retrieve it, but there are fire geysers and Fiery Dweevils that may hinder the Pikmin's progress.
Notes
Olimar's journal
“When I look at sapphires, I remember a time long ago when I would buy my wife jewelry. I'd buy her jewels every time she cried, which turned out to be all the time. It was tough with my meager salary!”
Sales pitch
“Like a forlorn heart during the rainy season, this sapphire is lovely...but tinged with sadness.”
Olimar's journal (Nintendo Switch)[edit]
“When I look at sapphires, I think about how I used to buy lots of jewelry for my wife, to bring a little sparkle to a sad day. But... that made me cry to see how hard it was on our budget.”
