The Sniper Room is the twenty-ninth level in Pikmin 2's Challenge mode. There is only one sublevel, but, as there are many enemies, it can get difficult. These enemies include Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Snow Bulborbs, a Decorated Cannon Beetle, an Armored Cannon Beetle Larva, and a Gatling Groink. It should be noted that this level is the only segment through the whole game that is played while it is night on the Planet of the Pikmin, Twilight Garden being the only one played during the gloomy sundown.
Strategies
The enemies here mostly use projectiles, so they can be used to attack each other. It is advisable to use the Spray against the Groink. Treasures are spread throughout the field, and the key is well hidden.
2 Player method Player 1 or 2 should take about 5 of the Yellow Pikmin and distract the Gatling Grionk on the pail, while the other player sneaks up the shovel that leans on the pail with the Purple Pikmin. Then the player with the Purple Pikmin should throw all of his/her Pikmin this will stun or defeat the Groink while saving time. After the Grionk is defeated carry it back to the research pod as it will recover. Then collect as much treasure as possible within the time limit.
