Anode Dweevils should be killed with the leaders or with Pikmin if you are very careful. The Cave of Pain is the twenty-seventh level in Pikmin 2's Challenge Mode. There are many large and mean beasts that often fall out of the sky, along with boulders and bomb-rocks.
