The Petrified Jellyfloat Strategy
Take both captains with no pikmin, and go over to the Greater Spotted Jellyfloat. The player should angle themselves so that the jellyfloat sucks up into its body only one of the two captains, and have the other petrify the jellyfloat with the Ultra-bitter spray . Then, using the captain that is inside the jellyfloat, the player should rapidly press the same buttons they would use if they were taken by a snitchbug. The jellyfloat will break, the captain will escape, and the key will clatter onto the floor. Take the key, collect any other treasures one might want, and escape.
