The following is a list of where gates and walls can be found.
Bramble gate
Pikmin
Areas
- The Impact Site
- There is one white bramble gate in this area. It can be found towards the west of the map, on the raised section that contains the three Pearly Clamclamps (with one holding the Positron Generator). This wall allows for a quicker route to carry back the ship part, as well as the pearls from the Clamclamps.
- The Forest of Hope
- There are three white bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located in the landing site, on the southern side of the section. The wall allows for access to the southern part of the area, which is full of Dwarf Bulborbs. The second gate can be found slightly southwest of the landing site, with a Bulborb on either side (or a pair on one side and a single one after day 4). This wall creates a path to the Yellow Onion. The final gate is located north of the landing site, in the thin section that contains the Nova Blaster. This gate is slightly submerged in water and it allows Olimar to reach the black bramble gate, blocking access to the Armored Cannon Beetle's arena, which contains the Radiation Canopy.
- There are two black bramble gates in this area. They can both be found towards the north of the area, with one slightly east of the sleeping Bulborb, and the other blocking access to the Armored Cannon Beetle's area. The first gate allows for the Nova Blaster to be retrieved.
- The Forest Navel
- There is one white bramble gate in this area. It can be found ever-so-slightly north of the S.S. Dolphin. The wall allows for the #1 Ionium Jet to be collected.
- There are two black bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located towards the far west, blocking passage to the Libra and the Analog Computer. The second gate can be found towards the far east, close to the arena where the Beady Long Legs can be found. This gate doesn't block access to the arena, but can allow for a faster route for the ship part the Long Legs holds to be retrieved.
- The Distant Spring
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located towards the northwest of the landing site, next to the long body of water. The wall is blocking access to the Zirconium Rotor, which is inside of a large tree stump towards the far west. The second gate can be found slightly northwest of the landing site, adjacent to the large tree trunk housing the Armored Cannon Beetle. The walls creates a path for the Bowsprit to be carried back (which is inside of the Cannon Beetle).
- There is one black bramble gate in this area. It is located directly opposite the first white bramble gate; the one near the Zirconium Rotor. Slightly north of this gate is the Pilot's Seat.
- The Final Trial
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. They can both be found on either sides of the arena towards the north that contains the Emperor Bulblax. The first gate is on the northern side, allowing for the arena to be entered, and the second gate is on the southern side, giving access to some additional bomb rocks.
Pikmin 2
Areas
- Valley of Repose
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located north of the landing site, in the section past the bag weighing 35. This gate blocks access to the Emergence Cave. The second gate can be found close to the previous gate, with it being in the water slightly east. This gate requires Blue Pikmin to be destroyed.
- There is one white poison bramble gate in this area. It can be found in the northern segment, past all of the Fiery Blowhogs and other enemies and towards the east. This gate blocks access to the Subterranean Complex.
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located north of the landing site, in the section past the bag weighing 35. This gate blocks access to the Emergence Cave. The second gate can be found close to the previous gate, with it being in the water slightly east. This gate requires Blue Pikmin to be destroyed.
- Awakening Wood
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. The first gate can be found slightly north of the landing site, slightly submerged and next to a clog that can drain the water the gate is in. The second gate is located towards the south, on the raised section and is blocking access to the Snagret Hole. A Burrowing Snagret is next to this gate.
- There are two white poison bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located north of the landing site, in the section behind the bag weighing 200. The gate is just past the White Flower Garden and the Cloaking Burrow-nit. The second gate can be found towards the northwest, past the Creeping Chrysanthemum and directly south of the Hole of Beasts. Past this gate is another Creeping Chrysanthemum and the Geographic Projection.
- There is one black bramble gate in this area. It can be found at the end of the path north of the landing site, just past the two Burgeoning Spiderworts. This gate opens up the northern part of the area.
- There are two white bramble gates in this area. The first gate can be found slightly north of the landing site, slightly submerged and next to a clog that can drain the water the gate is in. The second gate is located towards the south, on the raised section and is blocking access to the Snagret Hole. A Burrowing Snagret is next to this gate.
- Perplexing Pool
- There is one poison white bramble gate in this area. It can be found directly north of the landing site, guarded by a Fiery Bulblax and it allows for the Yellow Onion to be reached.
- There are two black bramble gates in this area. The first gate is located towards the northwest, in the water and directly west of the Glutton's Kitchen. This gate allows for the northernmost section to be reached. The second gate can be found directly west of the landing site, also submerged and is guarded by some Water Dumples. This gate allows for the southern part of the area to be reached, and for the Onion Replica to be retrieved.
- Wistful Wild
- There is one white bramble gate in this area. It is located directly south of the landing site, slightly submerged and guarded by a Hermit Crawmad.
- There are two poison black bramble gates in this area. The first gate can be found towards the east, blocking access to one of the paths to the Dream Den. The Gatling Groink spawns next to this gate. The second gate is located further east of the previous one, blocking access to the other path to the Dream Den. This gate is north of the three Creeping Chrysanthemums.
- There is one white bramble gate in this area. It is located directly south of the landing site, slightly submerged and guarded by a Hermit Crawmad.

- Bulblax Kingdom
- One can be seen on sublevel 7, with 12000 HP (4000 HP for each segment).
- Snagret Hole
- Six can be seen on sublevel 3, each with 7500 HP (2500 HP for each segment).
- Three can be seen on sublevel 6, each with 7500 HP (2500 HP for each segment).
- Five can be seen on sublevel 7, each with 7500 HP (2500 HP for each segment).
- Citadel of Spiders
- One can be seen on sublevel 2, with 12000 HP (4000 HP for each segment).
- Two can be seen on sublevel 3, each with 12000 HP (4000 HP for each segment).
- Three can be seen on sublevel 4, each with 12000 HP (4000 HP for each segment).
- Shower Room
- One can be seen on sublevel 2, with 12000 HP (4000 HP for each segment).

Dirt wall
Pikmin 3
Areas
- Tropical Wilds
- There are four dirt walls in this area. The first wall can be found inside of the first cave segment that Alph uses to reach the S.S. Drake. This wall will have a tutorial. The second and third walls are located in the main segment, with the first being slightly south of the landing site and the other being across the brown fragment bridge. This first wall grants access to the section containing the Pocked Airhead and the Whiptongue Bulborb, and the second wall grants access to the Dapper Blob and the Swooping Snitchbug, as well as the tree stump used to reach the Sandbelching Meerslug's arena. The fourth and final wall can be found in the Calcified Crushblat arena, which is towards the south of the landing site. The wall allows for the Crushblat to be reached and for the Searing Acidshock to be collected.
- Garden of Hope
- There are seven dirt walls in this area. The first wall is located in the landing site, blocking access to some brown bridge fragments. The second wall can be found across the brown fragment bridge and in the section holding the Bulborb. The wall creates a path to reach the eastern part of this segment. The third wall is located north of the landing site, in the section past the crystal wall. This wall is towards the west, near the pair of Yellow Wollyhops, and blocks access to the elevator platform room, containing the Zest Bomb and the Astringent Clump. The fourth wall can also be found north of the landing site, but it is instead towards the west and across the body of water. This wall creates a path needed to reach the Armored Mawdad. The fifth and sixth walls are located behind the cinder block that gets destroyed by Louie. The first of these two walls is located just beyond the cinder block and slightly north, and the second wall can be found submerged close by next to the Sunseed Berry. The seventh and final wall is located in the body of water near the third wall in this list. It creates a pathway between the pile of pot fragments and the pot building site, with a Toady Bloyster on the fragment's side and a pair of Sputtlefish alongside a Waddlepus on the other side.
- Distant Tundra
- There are three dirt walls in this area. The first wall can be found west of the landing site, blocking access to an alcove containing a Bearded Amprat. The second wall is located in the water north of the first wall, creating a small section of water inhabited by some Wolpoles. The third and final wall can be found towards the east, also in some water, alongside multiple Water Dumples and Skeeterskates. This wall creates a shortcut for the Face Wrinkler to be carried back.
- Twilight River
- There are two dirt walls in this area. They can both be found in the area's second main segment. The first wall is located towards the southwest, adjacent to the pack of Scornets. This wall allows access to the section that has the two clipboards. The second wall can be found on the natural bridge across the body of water towards the north.
- Formidable Oak
- There are five dirt walls in this area. Three will be in the area's first main segment, and the remaining two will be in the area's second main segment. The first wall can be found in the second room of the first main segment, containing a Bulborb and multiple Dwarf Bulborbs. The second wall is located in the segment's largest room, with the tree stump in the middle. The wall is towards the south and has some Female Sheargrubs on the opposite side. The third and final wall in this segment is towards the far east of this segment, across the red fragment bridge and slightly south. Some Male Sheargrubs will be opposite this wall. The fourth wall, now in the area's second main segment, can be found towards the far east, near a body of water, and can act as a shortcut for non-Blue Pikmin or Winged Pikmin to carry the bridge fragments. The fifth and final wall can be found towards the end of this segment, towards the north, and is blocking the path that needs to be taken if the clipboard is not lifted.
Side Stories
Olimar's Assignment
- Flower Garden
- There are two dirt walls in this story's area. The first wall is located southeast of the landing site, across the brown fragment bridge and in the section with the two Dwarf Bulborbs. The wall creates a path to reach the eastern part of this area, and it shares the same location as the dirt wall during story mode. The second wall can be found towards the far east, between a Golden Sunseed and a Face Wrinkler. This wall would be a crystal wall during story mode, which would block Brittany from leaving her crash site.
- There are two dirt walls in this story's area. The first wall can be found in this area's landing site, towards the east. The second wall is located in the arena slightly south of the landing site, where the Shaggy Long Legs would descend in during story mode. The wall will also be towards the east of this arena, replacing the electric gate in story mode.
Olimar's Comeback
- Pikmin Reunion
- There is one dirt wall in this story's area. It is located in the landing site, towards the west. This wall replaces the reinforced wall in story mode.
- Creature Hunting
- There is one dirt wall in this story's area. It can be found towards the west of the main segment, on the raised section near the pathway that leads to this area's landing site. The wall has some spotcaps on the northern side and some Dwarf Bulborbs alongside a lone Bulborb on the southern side.
- Land, Sea, and Sky
- There is one dirt wall in this story's area. It is located across the red fragment bridge from this area's landing site, and it is alongside a Hermit Crawmad. This wall shares the same location as the one during story mode.
- First Part Found
- There are three dirt walls in this story's area. The first wall can be found slightly south of the Red Onion, which is located in the story mode's landing site. This wall replaces the electric gate in story mode. The second dirt wall is located west of the Red Onion, blocking an alcove containing two Fiery Blowhogs and some blue bridge fragments. This wall shares the same location as the one during story mode. The third and final wall can be found southeast of the Red Onion, on the southern side of the snowman on the raised section. This wall blocks access for the ship part to be carried back to the SPERO.
- Team Monster Hunt
- There is one dirt wall in this story's area. It is located towards the far north of the area, in the section past the bamboo gate. This wall blocks access to the cave segment where the Bug-Eyed Crawmad would be during story mode.
- Another Part Found
- There are two dirt walls in this story's area. The first wall can be found across the red fragment bridge and in the large section with a tree stump in the middle. The wall will be towards the south, sharing the same location as the one during story mode. The second wall is located in the area's smaller segment, which is a long and thin corridor. This wall is guarded by a Calcified Crushblat and needs to be destroyed to retrieve the ship part.

Collect Treasures!
- Tropical Forest
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It can be found directly east of the SPERO, with a Face Wrinkler on the northern side and a Medusal Slurker on the southern side.
- Silver Lake
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located slightly west of the SPERO, blocking an alcove containing some Purple Pikmin sprouts and multiple different fruits. The second wall can be found slightly south of the SPERO, with it being fully submerged underwater directly below, blocking the section holding a Water Dumple.
- Thirsty Desert
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found directly south of the SPERO, blocking a small section holding a trio of Golden Grenades. The second wall is located towards the west of the stage, with a pile of Nuggets and a Dwarf Bulborb on the northern side and a Golden Sunseed on the southern side.
- Twilight Hollow
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located directly south of the SPERO. The second wall can be found towards the northwest, with some Winged Pikmin sprouts on the northern side.
- Shaded Garden
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. They can both be found towards the northwest of the SPERO, with one blocking access to the large water body and the other to the northern section full of fruit.
- Tropical Forest Remix
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found west of the SPERO, with a Pyroclasmic Slooch on the southern side and a Yellow Wollyhop on the northern side. It shares the same location as the wall found in the Tropical Forest stage. The second wall is located north of the SPERO, next to the red fragment bridge and next to the alcove containing the Orange Bulborb and two Dwarf Orange Bulborbs.
- Silver Lake Remix
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It is located west of the SPERO, with a pile of Nuggets on either side. This wall is next to the Golden Sunseed, being guarded by the Medusal Slurker, on small patch of snow.
- Shaded Garden Remix
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It can be found towards the northeast, blocking access to the northern section holding the Juicy Gaggle and the pair of Golden Sunseeds. This dirt wall shares the same location as one of the walls found in the Shaded Garden stage.
- Fortress of Festivity
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located east of the SPERO, between the Zest Bomb and the body of water full of Cupid's Grenades. The second wall can be found north of the previous wall, between the red present holding the Bouncy Mushroom and the blue present holding three Golden Grenades.
- Beastly Caverns
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found in the central segment, with it being slightly south of the Red Onion. The second wall is located in the northern cavern, on the eastern side next to multiple Male Sheargrubs.
- Forgotten Cove
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located slightly southeast of the SPERO, between the Yellow Pikmin sprouts and the Burgeoning Spiderwort. The second wall can be found directly west of the previously mentioned Yellow Pikmin sprouts, west of the Fire-Breathing Feast and next to another Burgeoning Spiderwort.
- Clockwork Chasm
- There are three dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found slightly east of the SPERO. The second wall is located at the end of the moving walkway towards the southeast. The third and final wall can be found towards the northwest, on the section containing a switch, some brown bridge fragments, and some Nuggets.
Battle Enemies!
- Tropical Forest
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It is located along the northern path from the Yellow Onion, which is where Brittany starts the stage.
- Silver Lake
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found slightly north of the Winged Onion, and the second wall is located slightly east of the Yellow Onion.
- Thirsty Desert
- There are three dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located directly west of the Blue Onion, and the second wall can be found directly north of the Blue Onion. The western wall is guarded by some Shearwigs, and the final wall is on the northern side of the second wall and slightly east.
- Shaded Garden
- There are three dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found slightly south of the Rock Onion and slightly east. The second wall is located further south of the Rock Onion, near some crystals. The third and final wall directly east of the Blue Onion, blocking the section holding a Bulborb and a Spectralids. This wall is adjacent to a crystal wall.
- Tropical Wilds Remix
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It is located north of the Blue Onion, where Brittany and Charlie start the stage, and it is between a Burrowing Snagret and a Peckish Aristocrab. The wall is in the same location as the reinforced wall during story mode.
- Twilight River Remix
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It can be found slightly west of the Rock Onion, replacing what would be a reinforced wall during story mode.
- Formidable Oak Remix
- There are three dirt walls in this stage. The first wall is located east of where Alph starts the stage, in the same location one would be located during story mode. The second wall can be found at the end of the curved path behind the first dirt wall, also in the same location as one wall could be found during story mode. The third and final wall is located in the section north of where Brittany starts the stage, the section is full of Rock Candypop Buds. This wall is also found in the same location as one during story mode.
- Fortress of Festivity
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. Both wall are located west of the SPERO, with one being north of the water body, which is the same location as the one during the Collect Treasures! version, and the other wall is slightly northeast.
- The Rustyard
- There is one dirt wall in this stage. It can be found west of the Blue Onion, which is towards the south, and it blocking access to the northern side of the stage.
- Beastly Caverns
- There are two dirt walls in this stage. The first wall can be found in the central segment, with it being slightly north of the Blue Onion. The second wall is located in the northern cavern, on the western side next to multiple Desiccated Skitter Leaves. They share roughly the same locations as the ones found during the Collect Treasures! version.
- Forgotten Cove
- There are three dirt walls in this stage. Two share the exact same locations as the one found during the Collect Treasures! version. One west of the SPERO, and one east of the SPERO. The third wall can be found towards the south of the stage, blocking the watery arena containing the Bug-Eyed Crawmad.
Bingo Battle
- Shaded Garden
- There is one dirt wall in layout A. It can be found in the center of the stage, with some Female Sheargrubs on one side and Male Sheargrubs on the other.
- Stagnant Sea
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. They can both be found at either end of the wooden bridge between the two Onions, with an Orange Bulborb and a Swooping Snitchbug in between the two.
- There are two dirt walls in layout B. They share the same locations as in layout A, but the Orange Bulborb and Swooping Snitchbug are both replaced with a crystal-encased Face Wrinkler and a Medusal Slurker.
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. The first wall is located towards the north, and the other can be found towards the south. Each wall is in the middle of the stage, blocking an alcove containing some Pikmin sprouts.
- Rusted Labyrinth
- There are two dirt walls in layout C. The first wall is located directly east of the westernmost Onion, and the second wall can be found directly west of the easternmost Onion. On the opposite side of each dirt wall is a Bulborb, two Dwarf Bulborbs, and a Citrus Lump.
- Jigsaw Fortress
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. The first wall can be found next to the soccer ball, either north or south of the Onion on the floor, blocking a square-shaped alcove containing some Pikmin sprouts. The second wall is located on the brown jigsaw floor next to a Yellow Wollyhop hop in the opposite direction from the Onion on the floor. This wall is also blocking a square-shaped alcove containing some Pikmin sprouts.
- There are four dirt walls in layout B. They can all be found on the brown jigsaw floor in the opposite direction of the Onion on the floor. A pair of dirt walls are blocking a corridor containing a Red Marble, and another pair is blocking another corridor containing a Blue Marble.
- Blooming Terrace
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. The first wall is located at the end of the southern path from the westernmost Onion, and the second wall can be found at the end of the northern path from the easternmost Onion.
- Parched Brook
- There are two dirt walls in layout C. The first wall can be found at the top of the slope towards the far east, and the other is located at the top of another slope towards the far west.
- Buried Pond
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. The first wall is located towards the northeast, and the second wall can be found towards the southwest. Each wall is blocking an alcove containing some Pikmin sprouts.
- There are four dirt walls in layout B. The first and second walls can be found towards the north of the cyan-colored Onion and the pink-colored Onion. The third and fourth walls are located towards the south of the cyan-colored Onion and the pink-colored Onion.
- There are two dirt walls in layout C. The first wall is located north of the westernmost Onion, and the second wall can be found south of the easternmost Onion.
- Corroded Maze
- There are four dirt walls in layout A. The first wall can be found slightly east of the westernmost Onion, and the second wall is located at the end of the path behind the first wall. The third wall is located slightly west of the easternmost Onion, and the fourth and final wall can be found at the end of the path behind the third wall.
- There are two dirt walls in layout B. They both share the same locations as the third and fourth walls in layout A.
- There are six dirt walls in layout C. Four walls share the same locations as the walls in layout A. The fifth and sixth walls can be found in the center of the stage, blocking access to the section containing two buried Marbles.
- Jigsaw Colosseum
- There are two dirt walls in layout A. The first wall can be found east of the westernmost Onion, just north of some Pellet Posies, and the second wall is located west of the easternmost Onion, just south of some Pellet Posies.
Pikmin 4
Areas
- Sun-Speckled Terrace - One has 5333 HP, one has 8000 HP
- There are two dirt walls in this area. The first wall is located north of the default base, the Ancient Arches, with it being below the bench and next to a Dwarf Bulborb. This wall gives access to the Last-Frost Cavern and opens up the rest of the area. The second wall can be found north of the Rugged Scaffold base, guarded by a Fiery Blowhog. This wall is north of the Crackling Cauldron and is adjacent to the hanging Temporal Mechanism being guarded by a Bulborb. The first wall has 5333 HP, and the second wall has 8000 HP
- Blossoming Arcadia - Has 8000 HP
- There is one dirt wall in this area. It is located directly east of the default base, the Fragrant Ravine, with it being in the section containing the Sticky Jewel and pile of raw materials that are being guarded by a pair of Downy Snagrets. The wall has 8000 HP.
- Serene Shores - One has 5333 HP, three have 8000 HP
- There are four dirt walls in this area. The first wall is located slightly northwest of the default base, the Blossoming Dunes, with it blocking access to the section containing a pair of Chance Totems. The second wall can be found on the opposite side of the sandy wall from the Dandori Battle cave entrance. This wall is blocking an alcove containing the Fishy Bed, and it is guarded by a Toady Bloyster. The third wall is located slightly north of the Water's Edge base, with a Honeywisp on the other side. The final wall can be found submerged in the body of water southeast of the Water's Edge base, in the section containing the Dawn Pustules and the Zest Bomb. The first wall has 5333 HP, whereas the rest have 8000 HP each.
- Primordial Thicket - Has 8000 HP
- There is one dirt wall in this area. It can be found slightly northeast of The Autumnal Gully base, guarded by a Beady Long Legs, and it has a Shearflea on the other side. The wall has 8000 HP.
Caves
- Last-Frost Cavern - Has 5333 HP
- There is one dirt wall on sublevel 2. It is located south of the alternate base, with it being adjacent to a pile of raw materials and a lone Shearwig. The wall has 5333 HP.
- Industrial Maze - Has 5333 HP

- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 7. It is located towards the northeast, in the section containing the Blizzarding Blowhog. The gate lowers once 1 Blizzarding Blowhog and 1 Titan Blowhog have been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 8. It is directly north of the base, just past the Crusted Rumpup. The gate will lower once 1 Crusted Rumpup is defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 9. It can be found towards the northeast, or directly east of the Man-at-Legs. The gate lowers once 1 Man-at-Legs has been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 10. It is located north of the base, just past the Smoky Progg egg. The gate will lower once one Smoky Progg is defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 11. It can be found directly north of the base, near where a Bloomcap Bloyster spawns. The gate lowers once 3 Bloomcap Bloysters have been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 13. It is located towards the northwest, at the end of the Gildemander's arena and slightly west. The gate will lower once 1 Gildemander is defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the Memory Fragment (Center Right) to be collected and for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 14. It can be found towards the northwest, directly west of the Horned Cannon Beetle's arena. The gate lowers once 3 Armored Cannon Larvas and 1 Horned Cannon Beetle have been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 15. It is towards the far west, just outside the section the base is located in and west. The gate will lower once 1 Baldy Long Legs is defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 16. It is located towards the northeast, next to where one of the Waterwraiths spawns. The gate lowers once 2 Waterwraiths have been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 17. It is at the end of the northern path from the base, with the Empress Bulblax being slightly west. The gate will lower once 1 Empress Bulblax is defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 18. It can be found at the northern part of the sublevel, just beyond the Sovereign Bulblax. The gate lowers once 1 Sovereign Bulblax has been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for the next sublevel to be entered.
- The Mud Pit
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 3. It is located towards the far north, just past the large body of mud. The gate will lower once 1 Bug-Eyed Crawmad and 2 Hermit Crawmad are defeated, and lowering the gate allows the exit fan to be reached.
- Subterranean Swarm
- There is one numbered gate on sublevel 5. It can be found towards the northwest of the base, directly west of the Sovereign Bulblax. The gate lowers once 1 Sovereign Bulblax has been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for Sweet Stumble-Not to be collected.
Dandori Challenges
- Hotshock Canyon
- There is one numbered gate in this challenge. It is directly south of the base, adjacent to some iron fences. The gate will lower once 3 Anode Beetles are defeated, and lowering the gate allows for them, and the Sweet Torrent, to be collected.
- Rockaway Cellars
- There is one numbered gate in this challenge. It can be found towards the northwest of the stage, just north of a group of Shearfleas. The gate lowers once 1 Scorchcake has been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for it, and the Child of the Earth, to be collected.
- Trial of the Sage Leaf
- There is one numbered gate found in the 4th Story: Dandori Seas. It is towards the northeast, being guarded by a Watery Blowhog. The gate will lower once all treasures are collected, and lowering the gate allows for the Sage Leaf to be reached.
- There is one numbered gate found in the 5th Story: The White Key. It is towards the southwest, being guarded by a Mammoth Snootwhacker. The gate lowers once all treasures have been collected, and lowering the gate allows for the Sage Leaf to be reached.
- There is one numbered gate found in the 6th Story: Gimmick Gambit. It is south of the alternate base location, or east of the default base. The gate will lower once all treasures are collected, and lowering the gate allows for the Bouncy Mushrooms to be used.
- There is one numbered gate found in the Final Story: The Purple Key. It is directly east of the S.S. Beagle, past the crystal wall and the Bulborb Larva dirt-mound, and in the rectangular-shaped section. The gate lowers once 1 Fiery Blowhog and 1 Watery Blowhog have been defeated, and lowering the gate allows for further progression through the trial.
Switch gate
Caves
- Doppelgänger's Den - Red will be raised, blue will be lowered
- There are three red switch gates on sublevel 2. The first gate is slightly northeast of the base, and the second gate is at the end of the path behind the first gate and slightly southeast. The third and final gate can be found behind the blue switch gate towards the northwest, with the red gate being on the raised platform. Behind this gate is a Moldy Dwarf Bulborb that is guarding the Life Controller. These three gates will be initially raised until the switch is pressed.
- There are four blue switch gates on sublevel 2. The first gate is slightly northwest of the base, with a Gildemandwee on the other side. The second gate is located at the end of the path behind the red switch gate slightly northeast of the base, with the blue switch gate being towards the east - slightly north of another red switch gate. The third gate can be found east of the base, being guarded by another Gildemandwee. The fourth and final gate is located south of the third gate, with a Moldy Dwarf Bulborb on the opposite side. These three gates will be initially lowered until the switch is pressed.
- Frozen Inferno - White will be raised
- There is one white switch gate on sublevel 3. It is located directly north of the base, in the section full of water. This gate will be initially raised and will permanently lower once the switch is pressed.
Dandori Challenges
- Toggle Training - Red will be raised, blue will be lowered
- There are three red switch gates in this challenge. The first gate is directly east of the base, the second gate is northwest of the base, adjacent to the switch, and the third gate is towards the southeast, adjacent to the pair of White Candypop Buds. These three gates will be initially raised until the switch is pressed.
- There are three blue switch gates in this challenge. The first gate is directly in front of the base, the second gate is directly west of the base, and the third gate is directly south of the base. These three gates will be initially lowered until the switch is pressed.
Trial of the Sage Leaf
- 6th Story: Gimmick Gambit - White will be raised
- There are three white switch gates found in this story. The first gate is slightly northeast of the base, and the second gate is slightly west of the base. The third and final wall is on the raised section south of the base, reached by traveling across the row of Bouncy Mushrooms. These gates will be initially raised and will permanently lower once their respective switches are pressed.
