The Broken Food Master (折れた食神?, lit.: "Broken Cooking God") is a treasure in the Nintendo Switch, North American GameCube/Wii, and Japanese GameCube/Wii versions of Pikmin 2. In the Nintendo Switch and North American GameCube/Wii versions, it is a broken ladle, and looks identical to the Divine Cooking Tool that is in the European and Japanese GameCube/Wii versions. In the Japanese GameCube/Wii version, it is the head of a broken metal spork. It is found on the fifth sublevel of the Shower Room.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

This treasure is located on sublevel 5 of the Shower Room, and is the one of the three treasures in the sublevel. It may be found in a body of water covered by a grate, requiring Blue Pikmin to get it. Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Fiery Blowhogs, and Withering Blowhogs may trouble Pikmin as they bring it to the Research Pod.

In the European GameCube/Wii version, the Merciless Extractor is found in this location.

Notes

Olimar's journal

This chrome trough has a very strange shape. It's bent and smooth, except for a sharp prong at the end of it. The ship insists that it's one of the three sacred treasures of Samadush, but I think it's just a kitchen sink.

Sales pitch

Behold the heavenly sparkle of this, one of the three sacred treasures of Samadush! Now you can own the artifact of endless food and drink! ... ... ... ... Of course, to a tongueless machine such as me, this is all completely meaningless.
