This article is about the top half of a shell. For the bottom half, see Memorial Shell.

The Scrumptious Shell (ウマイガイ?, lit.: "Delicious Scallop") is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is actually the top half of a scallop shell, and likely forms the counterpiece to the Memorial Shell. It is located on sublevel 3 of the Shower Room. Nameless scallop shells also appear in the Forgotten Cove stage in Pikmin 3, but are just for scenery.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Scrumptious Shell is found on sublevel 3 of the Shower Room. It can either be found on a ledge or in water. While the shell is being retrieved, Wollywogs, Hermit Crawmads, Water Dumples, Lesser and Greater Spotted Jellyfloats will attack the Pikmin retrieving the Scrumptious Shell.

Notes

Olimar's journal

I've encountered all kinds of grotesque, inedible creatures on this strange planet. However, there's an area in the Perplexing Pool region that's chock-full of tasty critters.

Sales pitch

This flavorful item's texture is most agreeable to any life-form... Or so my data suggests. Do statements like these, from a machine without taste buds, strike you as odd?

  • In Pikmin Bloom, the Purple Shell Decor Pikmin wears a shell very similar to the Scrumptious Shell. This is more obvious when viewing the Purple Pikmin turned around.
