This article is about the large bolt. For the small bolt, see Superstrong Stabilizer.

The Repair Juggernaut (フィックスマニア?, lit.: "Fix Mania") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is a large bolt, and is found on sublevel 6 of the Subterranean Complex.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

This treasure is found in the Subterranean Complex's sixth sublevel, and there are many hazards here, as well as deadly Careening Dirigibugs and Anode Beetles. It's advised to clear the sublevel of all its enemies and obstacles before trying to carry anything. That said, it is possible for the treasure to appear on the starting room, very close to the pod.[1]

Notes

Olimar's journal

This object must have been manufactured long ago by some kind of machine. Back then, they didn't have the fun toys kids have these days. My son is a video game addict, but I'm terrible at them! He teases me about it all the time. Wait... I've got it! Louie's young... He must be a video game wizard! He can give me some hot tips!

Sales pitch

Compared to the standard bonding epoxy, this item is two times... four times... No, even more! This metal fastener is 256 times more powerful! In time, it will fix everything in position!

Trivia

  • The number "256" referred to in the sales pitch is the number of different values a byte can have. In addition, 255 is the largest value an unsigned byte can hold. Because of these numbers' relevance in video game development, they appear at times in game scripts, particularly in Nintendo games.[2][3]
