Naming
The treasure's name consists of "activity," referring in this case to recreational pursuits or pastimes, and "arouser," meaning something that excites or provokes. The treasure seems to evoke excitement and the desire to exercise for Olimar and the Hocotate ship, which fits the connotation of a Wilson tennis ball lid. "Arouse" often has the connotation of being sexually excited, which is probably why the name was changed to Activity Booster in the European version of New Play Control! Pikmin 2.
Internally, the treasure has different names based on region, since it occurs in different locations. In the US version, the Activity Arouser has the internal name
g_futa_nihonraku
, "futa" translating to "lid" and "nihonraku" translating roughly to "japan music" (it is unknown what "g" refers to). The US treasure occurs in the same location as the Anywhere Floater, a Mainichi-brand milk cover in the Japanese version. In the PAL version, the treasure is internally called
g_futa_titiyas
— "titiyas" roughly meaning "Chichiyasu;" — because it occurs in the same location as the Milky Figure, a Chichiyasu-brand milk cover in the Japanese version.

The Activity Arouser is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is found in the third sublevel in the Submerged Castle, inside the body of one of the two Withering Blowhogs in the sublevel. The Activity Arouser is actually a Wilson tennis balls lid.

In the European version of Pikmin 2, this is a Sinalco bottle cap, and in the European version of New Play Control! Pikmin 2, it is called Activity Booster, possibly to drive away the relation to sexual arousal. It is found inside one of the Yellow Wollywogs on sublevel 2 of Citadel of Spiders.

In the Japanese version, this treasure is a Mainichi-brand milk cover.

Notes

Olimar's journal

This strange object makes me want to dance. I...can't...fight it... Must dance... Hey, this isn't so bad. I've been packing on the pounds, and this could be a great way to get some exercise! One, two, cha cha cha...

Sales pitch

This esoteric design will make viewers want to get up and move for no apparent reason. This is perfect for people who want to diet but can never seem to get started.

In the US version, the Activity Arouser has the internal name g_futa_nihonraku, "futa" translating to "lid" and "nihonraku" translating roughly to "japan music" (it is unknown what "g" refers to). The US treasure occurs in the same location as the Anywhere Floater, a Mainichi-brand milk cover in the Japanese version. In the PAL version, the treasure is internally called g_futa_titiyas — "titiyas" roughly meaning "Chichiyasu;" — because it occurs in the same location as the Milky Figure, a Chichiyasu-brand milk cover in the Japanese version.
