The Durable Energy Cell is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is found in the second sublevel in the Shower Room. This treasure is found in one of the corners in the level and may be near some Dwarf Orange Bulborbs or even the Orange Bulborb in the level. Defeat the Bulborbs and attack the Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat if necessary. The Durable Energy Cell is actually a C Duracell battery. In the Japanese version, it is a National NEO Hi-Top battery. The text on the side contains a paragraph warning that the battery cannot be recharged, and that the polarity should be respected. This is presented in Italian, French, German, and English, in that order. The full text reads:

Inserire correttamente. Non ricaricare.
Respecter les polarités + et -. Ne pas
recharger. Auf richtige Polarität achten.
Nicht wiederaufladbar. Connect correctly.
Do not recharge. MADE IN EC
