The following is a list of locations where Bulborbs (also known as Spotty Bulborbs or Red Bulborbs) can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Forest of Hope - Two spawn after day 4.
  • There are seven Bulborbs in this area. The first Bulborb is located past the white bramble gate at the landing site and close to the Eternal Fuel Dynamo. The second Bulborb can be found behind the next white bramble gate leading to the Yellow Onion. The third Bulborb is located on the ledge east of the landing site, guarding the Shock Absorber. The fourth Bulborb can be found down the path behind the gray reinforced wall at the landing site, next to the black bramble gate. The fifth Bulborb is located behind the previously mentioned black bramble gate, between the small body of water - with the white bramble gate submerged in - and the Nova Blaster. The final two Bulborbs can be found behind the gray reinforced wall south of where the Yellow Onion is found, the wall closest to the tin can containing some bomb rocks. Additionally, after day 4, two additional Bulborbs spawn in the area. The first one being next to the Bulborb found near the Eternal Fuel Dynamo. The second one being behind the opposite gray reinforced wall near the Yellow Onion, close to where the Whimsical Radar is located.
• Two Bulborbs are seen during the 'end of day' cutscene for The Forest of Hope. One Bulborb is seen during the 'end of day' cutscene for The Impact Site as well as The Final Trial. Additionally, during the cutscene for the game's best ending, one Bulborb can be seen.

Challenge Mode

• The Forest of Hope
  • There are eight Bulborbs in this challenge mode stage. The first Bulborb is located just outside of the landing site, near the large body of water. The second Bulborb can be found where the white bramble gate leading to the Yellow Onion is in story mode, slightly northwest of the tin can full of bomb rocks. The third Bulborb is located at the end of the northern path from the landing site; it is near the ledge the bridge is located on. The fourth Bulborb can be found in the same spot it's in during story mode; it's the one near the Nova Blaster and the small body of water. The fifth Bulborb is located behind the gray reinforced gate south of where the Yellow Onion is found in story mode, in the area with the cardboard box. The sixth Bulborb can be found in the large open space past the cardboard box, where the three Burrowing Snagrets are in story mode. The final two Bulborbs are located in the northernmost space in the stage, behind the gray reinforced wall and inside the large area the Armored Cannon Beetle is found in during story mode.

• The Distant Spring
  • There are four Bulborbs in this challenge mode stage. The first Bulborb is located slightly south of the Yellow Onion, at the end of where the small path splits into two small sections. The next two Bulborbs can be found west of the Red Onion within close proximity to each other. The final Bulborb is located directly north of the S.S. Dolphin, east of the smallest of the two bodies of water.

Pikmin 2

Areas

• Valley of Repose
  • There is one Bulborb in this area. It is located on top of the manhole next to the Utter Scrap, which is just north of the bag weighing 35.
• Awakening Wood
  • There is one Bulborb in this area. It is located slightly southwest of the landing site, next to two Dwarf Bulborbs and the ledge with the Sunseed Berry.

Caves

• Hole of Beasts
  • One can be seen on sublevel 4, holding the Dream Architect.
• Hole of Heroes
  • One can be seen on sublevel 9.
• Dream Den
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 5.
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 13.

  • One can be seen on sublevel 2, holding The Key.

• Garden of Hope
  • There is one Bulborb in this area. It can be found across the bridge built at the start of the area. Two Dwarf Bulborbs appear next to it after the Data Glutton is collected.
  • A Bulborb also appears in the end of day cutscene, alongside a Dwarf Bulborb.
• Tropical Wilds
  • There is one Bulborb in this area. It is located underneath the Delectable Bouquet after day 1.
• Formidable Oak
  • There is one Bulborb in this area. It can be found next to six Dwarf Bulborbs near the beginning of the cave next to a dirt wall.

Olimar's Assignment

• Inside Forest
  • There is one Bulborb in this story's area. It is located on the opposite side of the dirt wall from where Olimar and Louie start the level. It's where the Stellar Extrusion would be in story mode.

Olimar's Comeback

• Pikmin Reunion
  • There are two Bulborbs in this story's area. The first Bulborb can be found behind the dirt wall at the landing site, where a Whiptongue Bulborb would be in story mode. The other Bulborb is located across the bridge.
• Creature Hunting
  • There are two Bulborbs in this story's area. The first Bulborb can be found in the landing site, which is the Sandbelching Meerslug's arena in story mode, and the other Bulborb is located behind a dirt wall to the right after leaving the landing site.
• Big Fruit Carnival
  • There is one Bulborb in this story's area. The Bulborb can be found slightly north of the landing site, alongside a Sunseed Berry. It's near where the 2 Fiery Blowhogs would appear during story mode.

• Tropical Forest
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. It can be found behind the large crystal towards the south of the stage, which holds a Sunseed Berry. The Bulborb contains 6 Cupid's Grenades.
• Twilight Hollow
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. The Bulborb is located behind a few Kingcaps, guarded by a Swooping Snitchbug, towards the far east. The Bulborb contains 5 Cupid's Grenades.
• Shaded Garden
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. It can be found in an alcove blocked by a crystal, towards the west. The Bulborb contains 3 Golden Grenades.
• Tropical Forest Remix
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. It is located behind the electric gate next to the Seed Hive.
• Twilight Hollow Remix
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. The Bulborb is located behind both of the crystal walls and across from the bridge. It is also next to a Swooping Snitchbug.
• Beastly Caverns
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. It can be found behind the reinforced wall near the landing site.

Battle Enemies!

• Tropical Forest
  • There are two Bulborbs in this stage. One is found to the left of the Red Onion, surrounded by a couple of Dwarf Bulborbs and a Yellow Spectralids. The other Bulborb is found in a little alcove blocked by the dirt wall and crystal wall.
• Silver Lake
  • There are two Bulborbs in this stage. The first one can be found pretty close to the Yellow Onion. The other Bulborb is just near the dirt wall next to the previously mentioned Bulborb.
• Thirsty Desert
  • There is one Bulborb in this stage. The Bulborb can be found by taking the open geyser near the Red Onion. It takes the player to a ledge that holds the Bulborb and 3 bomb rocks.
• Shaded Garden
  • There are two Bulborbs in this stage. One Bulborb can be found behind the dirt wall closest to the large crystal near the Rock Onion. The other Bulborb is located behind a different dirt wall that is adjacent to the crystal wall near the large body of water.
• Garden of Hope Remix
  • There are two Bulborbs in this stage. One Bulborb is located across the blue bridge near the landing site. The other Bulborb is found near the pile of 40 bridge fragments for the red bridge.
• Formidable Oak Remix
  • There are three Bulborbs in this stage, and they are all located close to each other. They are located in a little alcove surrounded by a dirt wall and a crystal wall. The alcove also contains a geyser, 2 Candypop Buds, and 3 Dwarf Bulborbs.

Bingo Battle

• Shaded Terrace
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. The first Bulborb is located on the northern path, near the red or blue marble. It will be facing one of the two Onions. The second Bulborb can be found on the southern path, near the opposite-colored marble. This one will be facing the other Onion.
  • There is one Bulborb in layout B. It spawns in the center of the stage, surrounded by six Dwarf Bulborbs; three on each side.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb is located towards the far west, in the alcove adjacent to one of the two Onions. The second Bulborb can be found towards the far east, in the opposite alcove adjacent to the other Onion. Each Bulborb is guarding a Sunseed Berry and is surrounded by a pair of Dwarf Bulborbs.
• Stagnant Sea
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. They are both located on the island across the fragment bridge from the islands the two Onions are at. One Bulborb will be at each corner of the island.
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout C. They are located on the island across the fragment bridge from the islands the two Onions are at. One Bulborb is at the opposite end of each fragment bridge, and the third Bulborb is in the center; guarding an Insect Condo.
• Twisted Cavern
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. They are both found in the large, middle, section, alongside the Calcified Crushblat, with one being in an alcove to the east and the other in one to the west.
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout B. They are all located in the large, middle, section, with one being in the center and the other two being at the edges of the section. Eight Dwarf Bulborbs are in this section as well.
  • There is one Bulborb in layout C. It spawns in the large, middle, section, in an alcove. If the section is towards the north, it will be in the eastern alcove (the alcove closer to the pink-colored Onion). If the section is towards the south, it will be in the western alcove (the alcove closer to the blue-colored Onion). The opposite alcove has an Orange Bulborb It guards a Red Marble.
• Arid Metropolis
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout B. The first Bulborb spawns in the center of the map, alongside three Dwarf Bulborbs. The second Bulborb is located towards the north of the second column, next to the Red Marble and Sunseed Berry. The third Bulborb can be found towards the south of the fourth column.
• Rusted Labyrinth
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. The first Bulborb is located east of the cyan-colored Onion, behind the electric gate alongside a Portable Sunset. The second Bulborb can be found west of the pink-colored Onion, behind a different electric gate alongside the other Portable Sunset.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout B. The Bulborbs share the same location as layout A, but this time are behind a dirt wall alongside a Citrus Lump; they are also near a pair of Dwarf Bulborbs.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb spawns in the center of the map, next to the stubborn rocks. The second Bulborb can be found up the slope from the previous Bulborb, next to an iron ball.
• Jigsaw Fortress
  • There is one Bulborb in layout A. It is located in the corner of the stage opposite the Onion on the floor (not on the fortress), alongside a Velvety Dreamdrop and a Yellow Marble.
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout B. The first Bulborb can be found towards the part of the stage opposite from the Onion on the floor; on the brown jigsaw floor alongside a pile of hay, three Dwarf Bulborbs and a Citrus Lump. The second Bulborb is located close to the Onion on the fortress, just next to the stubborn rocks. The third Bulborb can be found in the opposite direction from the previous Bulborb, adjacent to the pair of electric gates.
  • There is one Bulborb in layout C. It spawns in the same location as the first Bulborb in layout B, near the same objects, except now there are only two Dwarf Bulborbs.
• Blooming Terrace
  • There are four Bulborbs in layout A. Two Bulborbs spawn in the center of the map, with each being on opposite sides of the electric gate. The third Bulborb can be found in the northernmost section, alongside a pair of Dwarf Bulborbs. The fourth Bulborb is located in the southernmost section, alongside a different pair of Dwarf Bulborbs.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout B. The first Bulborb spawns on the white tiles not too far from the center of the map; the other spawns on the red tiles, also close to the center of the map.
  • There are six Bulborbs in layout C. Two Bulborbs share the same location as layout A, and another two Bulborbs share the same location as layout B. The fifth Bulborb can be found in the of the corners of the stage, on the set of curved white tiles. The sixth Bulborb is located in the opposite corner of the stage, near the set of non-curved white tiles.
• Parched Brook
  • There is one Bulborb in layout A. It spawns in the raised section the Insect Condo is discovered on; on top of the stone podium.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout B. They are both located in the same section as layout A, but it is instead a Heroine's Tear on the stone podium. One is next to the electric gate, and the other is close to the fragment bridge.
  • There is one Bulborb in layout C. It spawns in the raised section the Face Wrinkler is discovered, which is on the two pieces of wood.
• Buried Pond
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. The first Bulborb is located in an alcove towards the northwest, adjacent to the bamboo gate. The second Bulborb can be found in another alcove towards the southeast, adjacent to a different bamboo gate. Each Bulborb is guarding a Yellow Marble.
  • There are six Bulborbs in layout B. There are three Bulborbs located in the south-western section, alongside a Red Marble. The other three Bulborbs can be found in the north-eastern section, alongside another Red Marble.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb is located directly south from the cyan-colored Onion, in the path connecting the southwestern section to the south-central section. The second Bulborb can be found directly north from the pink-colored Onion, in the path connecting the northeastern section to the north-central section.
• Sandbox Kingdom
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb is located towards the orange bucket, adjacent to the Insect Condo and is surrounded by four Dwarf Bulborbs. The second Bulborb can be found towards the sandcastle, close to the Heroine's Tear and is surrounded by four other Dwarf Bulborbs.
• Corroded Maze
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. The first Bulborb is located on the metal pathway leading east from the cyan-colored Onion. The second Bulborb can be found on the metal pathway leading west from the pink-colored Onion. Each Bulborb is joined by a single Dwarf Bulborb.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout B. The first Bulborb is located on the smaller metal pathway leading north from the cyan-colored Onion. The second Bulborb can be found on the smaller metal pathway leading south from the pink-colored Onion.
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout C. The Bulborbs share the same location as layout A, but are instead joined by two Dwarf Bulborbs each instead of one each.
• Jigsaw Colosseum
  • There are two Bulborbs in layout A. The first Bulborb is located along the path leading north from the southwesternmost square, where one of the two Medusal Slurkers are in. The second Bulborb can be found along the path leading south from the northeasternmost square, where the other Medusal Slurker is.
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout B. All three Bulborbs spawn in the center of the map, alongside eight Dwarf Bulborbs.
  • There are three Bulborbs in layout C. The first Bulborb is located towards the south, slightly east from the center, and is relatively west from the Portable Sunset. The second Bulborb is located towards the north, slightly west from the center, and is relatively east from the Delectable Bouquet.

Pikmin 4

Areas

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • There are four Bulborbs in this area. The first Bulborb appears near the Rugged Scaffold base, in between the two paper bags. The second one is located in between the Temporal Mechanism and the partially buried Flarlic. The third Bulborb is seen guarding the Meandering Slope base alongside a Dwarf Bulborb. The final Bulborb is located near the clay bridge by the Meandering Slope.

Caves

• Hectic Hollows
  • There is one Bulborb on sublevel 1. It is located near the top of the climbing wall which is adjacent to 2 nectar eggs.
• Kingdom of Beasts
  • There are two Bulborbs on sublevel 1. One is in the middle of two sizzling floors, guarding the Flaky Temptation. The other is found near the iron fence, fighting 5 wild Red Pikmin.
• Engulfed Castle
  • There is one Bulborb on sublevel 2. It can be found in a large open space past the dirt wall down the slope of the landing site. It holds 2 Crush Nuggets.
• Cavern for a King
  • There is one Bulborb sublevel 2. It is located in front of and to the right of where the player and the S.S. Beagle lands.

Dandori Challenges

• Dandori Day Care
  • There is one Bulborb in this challenge. It is located behind the potted plant, near where the player begins the challenge. It is next to a pile of Gold Nuggets.
• Hotshock Canyon
  • There is one Bulborb in this challenge. The Bulborb is located near some Spotcaps and a Kingcap, as well as being behind the iron fence near the base for the challenge.

Trial of the Sage Leaf

• 1st Story: Bulblaxes
  • There is one Bulborb found in this story. It is located in the northernmost room in between 2 Spotcaps.

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • Ancient Arches
    • There is one Bulborb in the Ancient Arches expedition. It is located in the small section where the Double Dragon-Eyed Scope and Crackling Cauldron are discovered.
  • Rugged Scaffold
    • There are five Bulborbs in the Rugged Scaffold expedition. The first Bulborb can be found towards the south, at the Ancient Arches base (the default landing site). The second Bulborb is located north from the Lumiknoll and the Last-Frost Cavern, near the dirt-mound. The third Bulborb can be found slightly west of the previous Bulborb, near where the Flarlic is initially discovered. It is near a pile of 15 glow pellets. The final two Bulborbs can both be found near the Crackling Cauldron, on the floor west and next to the electric gate.
  • Meandering Slope
    • There is one Bulborb in the Meandering Slope expedition. It is located close to where the Flarlic is initially discovered, which is north and slightly east of the Lumiknoll.

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • There is one Bulborb in this tale's area, and it can be found directly west from the landing site. It is next to the electric gate alongside three Dwarf Bulborbs.
