The Confection Hoop (おかしの大車輪?, lit.: "Large Sweet Wheel") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is a section of an unfrosted baumkuchen cake, and is found in sublevel 2 of the Submerged Castle.
Collecting the treasure
The following article or section contains guides. |
The Confection Hoop is found in the Submerged Castle's second sublevel, at the end of a long and narrow passage or across the water in a room with odd terrain. It can be reached by traveling through a small pipe that leads to an unreachable, high area, or throwing Pikmin across a gap in the room with the cave exit. One or more Dwarf Orange Bulborbs may be found near it. When transporting it back to the pod, Fiery Dweevils, Careening Dirigibugs, and other enemies may attack the Pikmin transporting it, so they should be defeated on the way to the treasure. If found at the end of the pipe, it may be tricky to collect it once the Waterwraith appears. If it goes past you, it will usually go to the end of the long hall, giving you precious carrying time. Lure out the Fiery Dweevils with a napping leader to prevent them from interrupting the transport.
