Concept art of the treasure.

The Dream Material is a treasure in Pikmin 2; it is actually a large white eraser. It is found on the last sublevel (6) of the Glutton's Kitchen, and is held by the territorial Giant Breadbug. When Olimar retrieves this treasure, the ship turns it into a useable item known as the Anti-Electrifier. If the Giant Breadbug is defeated first, the other Breadbugs won't take it to their dens.

Anti-Electrifier

The Anti-Electrifier, when unlocked, makes the captains' suits immune to electricity, including electrical attacks. The Titan Dweevil's electrical blasts, however, still knock captains down, but without dealing any space-suit damage. This device is particularly useful when trying to pass by electrical hazards with a group of Yellow Pikmin.

Ship's dialogs

Processing...How bizarre. An item appears to have fallen out of that freakish creature.

It must have been a greedy beast to swallow something like this.

This intriguing material does not conduct electricity.

It is far more advanced than the material I was researching. ...How frustrating.

A space suit made from this wonder alloy would insulate the wearer from electric shocks.

Excellent! This new material has allowed me to complete my Anti-Electrifier!

It is my own invention, with only the smallest iota of outside inspiration.

I have reconfigured your suits with this new material. They will now protect you from electricity!

Olimar's journal

This is yet another object I've recently discovered that is beyond my wildest dreams. It doesn't conduct electricity, but it can erase marks left by pencils with remarkable ease. Sadly, the more you use it, the more it rubs away into oblivion. Hmmm... In a way, it reminds me of my job...

Sales pitch

This nonconductive substance has many uses: I have discovered it can even erase pencil marks. It is a dream material! But the more it is used, the more it crumbles. The same is true of dreams.
