Notes
Olimar's journal
“This statue features an astounding degree of detail. It looks a lot like a present I gave my mom for Mother's Day. I miss her...sometimes.”
Sales pitch
“This stone carving was lined up with others as if they were meant to protect something. Proof of a megalithic civilization! (I am unsure about that, but bluffing is paramount.)”
Olimar's journal (Nintendo Switch)[edit]
“This statue features an astounding degree of detail. The figure looks extravagant or maybe even regal! Should I bow to it?”
Olimar's journal (Japanese)[edit]
- Text: “一見えらそうだが、よく見るとやっぱりえらそうな形の石像。まるで今時の母親を表わしているかのようだ。少し恐怖を感じる。”
- Translation: “At first glance, this stone statue looks admirable, but upon closer inspection, it still has an admirable-looking shape. It seems to represent the mothers of today. I feel a little afraid of it.”
Sales pitch (Japanese)[edit]
- Text: “何かを守るように並んで配置された石像の1つ。巨石文明の存在を示す証拠といえよう。(……かどうかは不明。でも世の中ハッタリが大切です。)”
- Translation: “One of a series of stone statues placed side by side as if protecting something. It is evidence of the existence of a megalithic civilization. (...Whether that is true or not is unknown. But bluffing is important in this world.)”
Olimar's journal (Japanese, Nintendo Switch)[edit]
- Text: “一見えらそうだが、よく見るとやっぱりえらそうな形の石像。とても威圧感のあるその形状。少し恐怖を感じる。”
- Translation: “At first glance, this stone statue looks admirable, but upon closer inspection, it still has an admirable-looking shape. Its shape is very intimidating. I feel a little afraid of it.”

Trivia[edit]
- The Priceless Statue's name is a reference to a Queen's power in chess; unlike a King, a Queen has extreme mobility, making it one of the most powerful and valuable pieces on the board.
- The Priceless Statue and the Worthless Statue, despite their names, share the same Poko value.
