One of the treasures found in Pikmin 2, the Disguised Delicacy is actually half of a kiwifruit and can be found on the first floor of the Dream Den in the Wistful Wild. The sublevel contains multiple Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats, a Hermit Crawmad, and poison pipes between this treasure and the ship.
Notes
Olimar's journal
“The fruit on this planet is astonishingly large. If we could cultivate these ample fruits on Hocotate, nobody would ever go hungry again! Sadly, I don't know anything about agriculture. Maybe I should have listened to my wife when she told me to do yard work...”
Sales pitch
“Fruits cannot be judged by their outer coverings, no matter how hairy. This one is quite yummy. It is times like these that make me wish I were equipped with advanced taste capabilities.”
Trivia
- Olimar's journal entry for this treasure appears to foreshadow the basic plot of Pikmin 3.
- The Disguised Delicacy appears twice as a collectible Fruit in Pikmin 3.
