The Gyroid Bust is a treasure found in the game Pikmin 2. It is actually a haniwa, resembling the ones found in Animal Crossing and its sequels, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. In the Animal Crossing games, the items are called Gyroids. The treasure in Pikmin 2 is found on the last (7th) sublevel of the Bulblax Kingdom, and can be acquired right after the Emperor Bulblax is defeated. The captain will need the Scorch Guard which is obtained by bringing the Forged Courage from the Bulblax to the ship. The captains will then be able to guide the Red Pikmin to the treasure without fear of being damaged by fire geysers.

PS: When I found this figurine, it had been placed so that it was protected by a wall of flame. My research isn't complete, but I think it may have been a shrine of some kind.”
