The Cupid's Grenade is appears as a treasure in Pikmin 2 and as a fruit in Pikmin 3. It is simply a cherry.
Pikmin 2
The Cupid's Grenade is found on Sublevel 4 of the Snagret Hole, and is located in one of the many alcoves, near multiple Armored Cannon Beetle Larvae and other hazards.
In 2-Player Battle
In 2-Player Battle, this item plays a larger role than it did in the main game. Multiple cherries can appear at once; it only takes one Pikmin to carry, and it is brought to the Onion instead of the Research Pod. When a cherry is acquired, a roulette appears and the player who took the cherry to the ship will obtain a special ability/item that will give an edge in battle. Up to five of these rewards can be stored at any given time.
Pikmin 3
In Pikmin 3, the Cupid's Grenade appears three times in Story mode, and is only worth a half bottle of juice.
Two Cupid's Grenades are found in the Distant Tundra. One is on top of a snowman near the landing site, and requires Yellow Pikmin to obtain. Another is next to an Iron Ball embedded within a snowdrift at the top of a hill. The last Cupid's Grenade is found on an island in the Tropical Wilds, needing either Blue or Winged Pikmin to collect.
In Mission Mode and in Bingo Battle, a golden variant called the Golden Grenade appears alongside the Cupid's Grenade.
In Bingo Battle
The Cupid's Grenade also appears in Bingo Battle, and serves a similar purpose as in 2-Player Battle in Pikmin 2. However, the rewards offered by the roulette are different.
