The Stellar Orb is a treasure found in Pikmin 2 that is actually a lightbulb. It can be found on the last (9th) sublevel of the Subterranean Complex, and is held by a powerful Man-at-Legs. When Olimar retrieves this treasure, he unlocks the Solar System, a device that lights up even the darkest shadows inside caves.
It is strange that Hocotatian people have advanced technology (for example, they are capable of interstellar flight), and yet, they know nothing about this object's kind of technology (see Olimar's notes below). What makes this even stranger is that Olimar's UV Lamp from Pikmin 1 appears to be just like a lightbulb.
Being in the Explorer's Friend Series, it is part of the Exploration Kit.
