The Cosmic Archive is a Famicom disk of the game Nazo no Murasame Jou. The writing on it is mostly Japanese, so it can't easily be interpreted, except for the part at the bottom:
This treasure is found on Sublevel 3 in the Hole of Beasts, and it is best to take out the fire geysers if you're going to transport it with non-Red Pikmin.
