The Essence of Despair is a treasure in Pikmin 2, found on the second sublevel of the Cavern of Chaos. It is dropped by one of there Fiery Bulblaxes, so Red Pikmin are a must when retrieving it. This treasure is actually an emerald mounted on a silver circle, and therefor it also resembles the Saggitarious from Pikmin 1.
