The Heavy-duty Magnetizer (超磁性体マグナイザー?) is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is a horseshoe magnet labeled with the two correct poles, N and S (North and South). The treasure is found on Sublevel 4 of the Snagret Hole, and is held by an Armored Cannon Beetle Larva that falls from the sky. Take great caution and use the Treasure Gauge to find it, and then make sure to deal with nearby hazards so the Pikmin can transport it to the Ship's Pod.
Notes
Olimar's journal
“I've had an upset stomach lately. I'm not old yet, but I'm not young anymore either. Maybe I should start doing a better job of looking after my health. Perhaps basking in this contraption's magnetic rays will make me stronger...”
Sales pitch
“The most powerful magnetic force in the universe! The healing properties of magnetic fields relieve backaches, headaches, toothaches, and even dreaded spleenaches!”

Trivia
- Both journals reference magnets being able to cure injuries. This has been a theory ever since the Greeks were in power, approximately 2500 years ago. This theory was also proven true in 2008 by a group of scientists, four years after Pikmin 2 was released.[1]
