The Olimarnite Shell (貝物オリマナイト?, lit.: "Shell-object Olimarnite")is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It may be an ammonite fossil judging by its shape and name. It was named after Captain Olimar. The treasure is found in the Bulblax Kingdom on Sublevel 3, and on the Challenge Mode level Cavernous Abyss, and it is completely buried in the ground in both cases. White Pikmin are needed to dig it up and bring it back to the ship.

Notes

Olimar's journal

This fossil was dug up deep underneath the Awakening Wood. Given its shape and morphology, I suspect that it is some kind of prehistoric sea creature. If so, it's feasible to say that the whole region was once situated on the ocean floor.

Sales pitch

A fossil of an ancient sea inhabitant. It is most desirable despite its unappealing name. (Captain Olimar named it without consulting anyone. He could have at least named it after his faithful spaceship...)
