The Essence of True Love is one of the 201 treasures found in Pikmin 2. It is actually a gold-mounted sapphire. It is located on the second sublevel in Hole of Heroes. This level is filled with Swooping Snitchbugs, Bumbling Snitchbugs, and other flying enemies. Before retrieving it, defeat the Antenna Beetle and the Anode Beetles. Locate the treasure with the Treasure Gauge and bring it to the Ship's Pod. Watch out for Snitchbugs and Careening Dirigibugs, which can cause disaster to unattended groups of Pikmin.
