The Sunseed Berry is a treasure found in Pikmin 2, and is simply a strawberry. The Sunseed Berry is found on the mainland in the Awakening Wood, and can easily be obtained as it is guarded only by a Red Bulborb and a few Dwarf Bulborbs. The Sunseed Berry is sitting on a ledge behind the enemies where Pikmin can be thrown on to. In the first beta video of Pikmin, there was a Strawberry that Yellow Pikmin were seen returning to their Onion, and it is rumored that this is based off of said Strawberry[1]. This treasure is similar to the Combustion Berry.
