The Courage Reactor is actually a D Duracell battery. It is the first treasure that can be collected in Pikmin 2, it is found partially buried in the Valley of Repose. Upon retrieval the ship is satisfied with the day's work and the first day is completed. Despite being found by Louie, both Olimar and Louie are needed to collect this. To retrieve it, gather all the pellets in the area, including the Dwarf Red Bulborb. After obtaining 20 Pikmin, have them dig it out of the ground and carry it to the ship.
