The Fossilized Ursidae (木造巨生物クマキボリ?, lit.: "Wooden Huge Creature Bear Carving") is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It's actually a wood carving of a bear fishing, more specifically a "kibori kuma". It is found in the Valley of Repose, on top of a ledge.
Collecting the treasure
The following article or section contains guides. |
It lies beyond the bridge, so the lake must be drained and the bridge must be built before it can be obtained. The treasure is near the lake where the Fiery Bulblax sleeps and a Decorated Cannon Beetle lurks. The treasure is high up on top of a snow bank, so Yellow Pikmin are needed to retrieve it. Purple Pikmin can also be used by utilizing their throwing behavior when a leader throws them while running.
