Making an appearance in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3 , the Disguised Delicacy (ミカケダマシ) is a green kiwi. in Pikmin 2, it can be found on the first floor of the Dream Den in the Wistful Wild, with multiple Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats, a couple of Hermit Crawmads, and poison pipes between this treasure and the ship making it a challenging salvage. There are also a total of 4 halfs of this fruit in Pikmin 3, though they are found in pairs. One pair is found at the Distant Tundra , suspended in a crystal, and the other is dropped by the Shaggy Long Legs found at the Tropical Wilds .

Notes

Olimar's Journal

"The fruit on this planet is astonishingly large. If we could cultivate these ample fruits on Hocotate, nobody would ever go hungry again! Sadly, I don't know anything about agriculture. Maybe I should have listened to my wife when she told me to do yard work..."

Sales Pitch

"Fruits cannot be judged by their outer coverings, no matter how hairy. This one is quite yummy. It is times like these that make me wish I were equipped with advanced taste capabilities."

Brittany's American Comments

"Ha! This Fuzzy produce thought it could disquise itself as one of the native creatures, but I'd know the smell of Piktamin U anywhere! Take that, fruit!"

Brittany's European Comments

"Ha! This fuzzy specimen thought it could disguise itself as one of the native creatures, but I'd know the smell of Piktamin U anywhere! You can't fool the senses of a hungry Koppaite!"

Trivia

  • The Disquised Delicacy is easily mistaken as the Blonde Imposterwhich is a gold kiwi.
  • In Pikmin 2, the fruit is found all in one piece, but in Pikmin 3, it can only be obtained in halves.
