The Growshroom (ソダチノタケ?, lit.: "Mushroom of Growth") is a treasure found in Pikmin 2. It is actually a large mushroom. The name is a reference to the Super Mushrooms of the Mario series, which is supported by the entry in Olimar's journal and the sales pitch for the treasure, each stating that the treasure is able to increase one's size.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Growshroom is found on sublevel 6 of the Cavern of Chaos. It is partially buried in the ground.

Notes

Olimar's journal

According to the ship's analysis, you'll grow into a giant if you eat one of these. I'd like to field-test one of these babies. I wonder what would happen if I fed one to a purple Pikmin...

Sales pitch

Eat one of these and grow to twice your normal size! Perfect for skinny beings unable to pack on any girth.
