The Snow Bulborb (ユキチャッピー?, lit.: "Snow Chappy") is a cave-dwelling enemy in Pikmin 2.
Like most other Dwarf Bulborbs, Snow Bulborbs are members of the breadbug family that mimic genuine adult Bulborbs, those being Hairy Bulborbs in their case. While they look very similar, they noticeably lack hair. Throwing Pikmin onto their backs remains an effective strategy. However, their very low health - the lowest of all Dwarf Bulborb species - means that swarming is also a viable tactic.
They are notably the first subterranean species discovered in Pikmin 2, first encountered in the Emergence Cave. They are exclusively found underground, almost always in sublevels set in snowy caves, and usually around Hairy Bulborbs.

Strategy
Pikmin
If a considerable amount of Pikmin are available, swarm it and it should die before eating any. Alternatively, aim and throw a large amount of Pikmin (preferably Purple Pikmin) at its back. If one lands directly on it, it'll die immediately.
Leaders
Run around it and swat it until it's dead, avoiding its attacks. Similar to the strategy of defeating Adult bulborbs, attack its back to evade its attacks.

Trivia
- As with most other breadbug mimics, petrifying one in the Piklopedia, throwing Pikpik carrots, and allowing the creature to thaw will dramatically increase the speed they both move and eat.
- While likely coincidental, Whiptongue Bulborbs share a very similar color scheme to Snow Bulborbs.
- The Snow Bulborb is the only Bulborb mimic that does not share the same subspecies name as its Grub-Dog counterpart.
- Snow Bulborbs, much like Hairy Bulborbs, are extensively used in various unused and template caves, likely as placeholders or to test enemy spawns. This possibly stems from their origin as yellow Bulborbs, which were often seen as placeholders in prerelease material.
