The Dimensional Slicer (次元カッター?, lit.: "Dimensional Cutter") is a treasure in the US version of Pikmin 2. It is a lever-type can opener with a green handle, and can be found in Sublevel 9 of the Hole of Heroes, which is infested with many varieties of Bulborbs. It is inside the Fiery Bulblax, which may be near some other smaller Dwarf Bulborbs. Red Pikmin, and Bulbmin are best used to take it – and any other Grub-dogs in the way – out, especially the Spotty Bulbear. It is replaced by the Patience Tester in the European version, and the Flying Saucer in the Japanese version.

Notes

Olimar's journal

Our salvage operations have yielded several unbelievably advanced artifacts. According to my analysis, this cutting device can slice through the fabric of time and space. My days of struggling to open food canisters are over!

Sales pitch

A dimensional cutter that slices through space and time, this is nothing to be trifled with. Good children will know not to play with this item.
