Trivia
- Interestingly, this treasure is not the only connection between Pikmin and Mysterious Murasame Castle. In WarioWare: D.I.Y., a microgame based on Mysterious Murasame Castle is present in the Japanese version, but has been replaced with a Pikmin microgame in the localized versions.
- To a lesser degree, the Super Smash Bros. series combine elements from several universes, including Pikmin and Mysterious Murasame Castle. In Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U, it is possible to, for instance, have Captain Olimar summon Takamaru as an Assist Trophy.
