The Disguised Delicacy is a treasure in Pikmin 2 and a fruit in Pikmin 3. It is a kiwifruit.

How to Obtain

In Pikmin 2

In Pikmin 2, the Disguised Delicacy can be found on the first floor of the Dream Den in the Wistful Wild. The sublevel contains multiple Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats, a Hermit Crawmad, and poison pipes between this treasure and the ship.

In Pikmin 3

The Disguised Delicacy appears twice in Pikmin 3, located in the Tropical Wilds and the Distant Tundra.

Tropical Wilds

The one in the Tropical Wilds is being held by a Shaggy Long Legs. Defeat the creature to get the fruit.

Distant Tundra

The one in the Distant Tundra is in a crystal in the room with the yellow Onion, but requires rock Pikmin to get, meaning that the bridge must be built before attempting to retrieve the fruit.

Notes

Olimar's journal

The fruit on this planet is astonishingly large. If we could cultivate these ample fruits on Hocotate, nobody would ever go hungry again! Sadly, I don't know anything about agriculture. Maybe I should have listened to my wife when she told me to do yard work...

Sales pitch

Fruits cannot be judged by their outer coverings, no matter how hairy. This one is quite yummy. It is times like these that make me wish I were equipped with advanced taste capabilities.

Brittany's notes

Ha! This fuzzy produce thought it could disguise itself as one of the native creatures, but I'd know the smell of Piktamin U anywhere! Take that, fruit!

Trivia
