The following is a list of locations where Swooping Snitchbugs can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Forest of Hope - Spawns after day 14
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this area, and it will appear after day 14. The Snitchbug is located in the large segment past the section the landing site is in - near the body of water towards the south, with it being close to where the Eternal Fuel Dynamo is discovered.
• The Distant Spring - All spawn after day 4
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs in this area. The first Snitchbug can be found towards the east, along the narrow path between the long body of water and the large tree stump just beyond the white reinforced wall. It's directly east from the Gluon Drive and the Zirconium Rotor. The second Snitchbug is located towards the north of the map. It is located south of the Yellow Candypop Bud and near the small body of water.

Pikmin 2

Areas

• Perplexing Pool
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs in this area, and they are both located close to each other. They can both be found in the section used to initially meet the Yellow Pikmin, as well as where the Fiery Bulblax and Impediment Scourge are located. One Snitchbug is closer to the Glutton's Kitchen, and the other is closer to the pair of Burgeoning Spiderworts.
• Wistful Wild
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this area. It is located directly outside the landing site and to the west, near the pair of Dwarf Bulborbs and the Decorated Cannon Beetle.

Caves

• Subterranean Complex
  • One can be seen on sublevel 2.
• Frontier Cavern
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 4.
• Snagret Hole
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3.
• Citadel of Spiders
  • Three can be seen on sublevel 3.
• Cavern of Chaos
  • Three can be seen on sublevel 2.
• Hole of Heroes
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 2.

Challenge Mode

• Abduction Den
  • One can be seen on sublevel 1, holding the Unknown Merit.

Pikmin 3

Areas

• Tropical Wilds
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this area. It can be found in the area's main segment, east of the submerged tree stump on the raised area where the Dapper Blob is discovered.
• Distant Tundra - Two spawn the day after the double-bridge is fully built
  • There are three Swooping Snitchbugs in this area. One Snitchbug is located west from the Yellow Pikmin's cave entrance, as well as an electric gate. The other two Snitchbugs can be found towards the south of the area's main segment, in a small snowy section near the exit of the Vehemoth Phosbat's arena. This snowy section is where the Dodge Whistle and Dawn Pustules are discovered.
• Formidable Oak
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs in this area, and they are both located close to each other. They can both be found in the largest main space in the area's first main segment, towards the south near the dirt wall. This space is where the red bridge fragments are found.

Side Stories

Olimar's Comeback

• Creature Hunting
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this story's area. It is located in the main section, in the dried-up water body. It can be seen north of the tree stump, next to a Peckish Aristocrab.
• Land, Sea, and Sky
  • There are four Swooping Snitchbugs in this story's area, and they are found in pairs. The first pair can be found in the small section blocked off by the two bamboo gates, with the Snitchbugs being in the smaller part of this section - with the dirt terrain. The second pair is located just opposite the previous pair, near the water body up north. This is where the two Yellow Wollyhops would be in story mode.
• Looking for Louie
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this story's area. It can be found in Captain Olimar's section, towards the north in the section blocked off by the two reinforced walls. It shares this area with two Skutterchucks and is where the Arachnode would be in story mode.
• Another Part Found
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this story's area. It is located across the red fragment bridge from where Olimar and Louie start. It is seen towards the south of the area near the dirt wall - similar to where it is found in story mode.

Mission Mode

Collect Treasures!

• Twilight Hollow
  • There are four Swooping Snitchbugs in this stage. The first Snitchbug can be found towards the south of the map, behind the dirt wall at the base. The second Snitchbug is located across the brown fragment bridge towards the east from the previous Snitchbug, near some Yellow Pikmin sprouts. The third Snitchbug can be found directly east of the SPERO and west of the group of Kingcaps and Spotcaps. The final Snitchbug is located directly west of the SPERO, near the pile of bridge fragments and the ledge leading to the Puffy Blowhog's arena.
• Twilight Hollow Remix
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this stage. It can be found towards the south of the area, in the section blocked off by two crystal walls. The brown fragment bridge leads to this area, and it shares this space with a Bulborb.
• The Rustyard
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this stage. It is located adjacent to where Brittany starts, towards the northwest next to the electric gate.

Battle Enemies!

• Tropical Forest
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs in this stage. The first Snitchbug can be found slightly northeast of the Red Onion, where Alph starts, in the large open space to which the slide made out of vines leads. The second Snitchbug is located opposite the dirt wall north of the Yellow Onion, where Brittany starts.
• Tropical Wilds Remix
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in this stage. It can be found west of the SPERO, which is where Alph starts, and near the half-submerged Bouncy Mushroom. It is near one of the stage's dirt-mounds.
• Garden of Hope Remix
  • There are six Swooping Snitchbugs in this stage. Two Snitchbugs are located west of the SPERO and Master Onion, near the pile of blue bridge fragments. This is where the two Yellow Wollyhops would be in story mode. The next Snitchbug can be found behind the crystal wall south of the SPERO, leading to the large arena the Burrowing Snagret is burrowed in. This is where the landing site would be in story mode. The fourth Snitchbug is located directly west of the previous one, near the red fragment bridge. The final two Snitchbugs can be found in the stage's southernmost part, in an alcove across the brown fragment bridge. This is where the Pocked Airhead and Fiery Blowhog would be in story mode.
• Distant Tundra Remix
  • There are three Swooping Snitchbugs in this stage. The first Snitchbug is located north of where Charlie starts, in the raised section leading to the snowy slide. This is where the Whiptongue Bulborb would be in story mode. The other two Snitchbugs can be found directly west of the Red Onion, in the open alcove below, alongside two Whiptongue Bulborbs and a Fiery Blowhog. This is where the two Pyroclasmic Slooches would be in story mode.
• Clockwork Chasm
  • There are three Swooping Snitchbugs in this stage. A pair of Snitchbugs are located at the top of the moving walkways southwest of the SPERO, on the platform with the large green screwdriver and a conveyor switch. The final Snitchbug can be found directly north, in the middle of the long stretch of moving walkways directly west of the SPERO.

Bingo Battle

• Stagnant Sea
  • There is one Swooping Snitchbug in layout A. It is located between the two colored Onions, flying on top of the pathway blocked by the two dirt walls. This pathway is made out of wood and some nails, and also holds an Orange Bulborb.

Pikmin 4

Areas

• Blossoming Arcadia
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs in this area. One Snitchbug is located near the 'Sunwashed Plateau' base, near the unbuilt clay bridge and the pile of raw materials. The other Snitchbug can be found in the raised section south of the 'Fragrant Ravine' base, near where the Yellow Onion is discovered.

Caves

• Subterranean Swarm
  • There are two Swooping Snitchbugs on sublevel 4. The first Snitchbug is located west of the base, down the path until it begins to curve alongside a Joustmite. The other Snitchbug can be found just north, flying above the groups of Spotcaps and Poison Spotcaps.

Dandori Challenge

• Aerial Incinerator
  • There are three Swooping Snitchbugs in this challenge. The first Snitchbug is located directly west of the base, across the moving walkway, alongside a pile of 40 Gold Nuggets. The other two Snitchbugs can be found north of the previous Snitchbug, near a row of dried plants blocking two Winged Candypop Buds. They are all close to the Emperor Whistle.

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

• Blossoming Arcadia
  • There are three Swooping Snitchbugs in this tale's area. Two Snitchbugs are located down the northern path from the 'Sunwashed Plateau' landing site, with one being west from the Extraordinary Bolt and the other being west from the iron fence. The final Snitchbug can be found in the section across the clay bridge east from the landing site. This section leads to a raised area where the Blue Onion is discovered (surrounded by dried plants and Desiccated Skitter Leaves).

• Olimar's Madcap Ride - Area D
  • There are ten Swooping Snitchbugs in this area, with one only appearing in first and only cutscene. The rest appear whilst Olimar is riding on top of the Adult Centipare for the second time - just after encountering the Muggonfly. One Snitchbug appears, then a pair of Snitchbugs appear followed by two groups of three Snitchbugs.
