Spotty Bulbear/Locations

The following is a list of locations where Spotty Bulbears can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Distant Spring
  • There are six Spotty Bulbears in this area. The first one can be found relatively close to the landing site, slightly west of the Red Onion. A second one is also located close by, with it guarding the giant skull that houses some bomb-rocks. Three more Bulbears can be found behind the black reinforced wall near the landing site, with a Puffy Blowhog in between. It is the area holding the UV Lamp. The final Bulbear is located on the other side of the landing site, across the bridge and near the Massage Machine.

Challenge Mode

• The Forest of Hope
  • There are four Spotty Bulbears in this challenge mode area. One can be found where the Yellow Onion is discovered during story mode, guarding a red 10-pellet posy. A second one is located in the area where the Armored Cannon Beetle is located during story mode, sharing this space with 2 Bulborbs and a Pearly Clamclamp. A third one can be found where the Shock Absorber is located during story mode. The fourth and final Bulbear is located where the three Burrowing Snagrets would be found during story mode, towards the south of the map.

Pikmin 2

Areas

• Perplexing Pool - Spawns after day 30
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this area, and it spawns after day 30. It can be found close to where the Yellow Onion was originally discovered but will wander all around the map.

Caves

• Frontier Cavern
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3, holding the Danger Chime.
• Glutton's Kitchen
  • One can be seen on sublevel 4, holding the Happiness Emblem, Massive Lid, Drone Supplies, or the Good Old Memories.
• Hole of Heroes
  • One can be seen on sublevel 9.
• Dream Den
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3.

Challenge Mode

• Subterranean Lair
  • Three can be found on sublevel 1, with two holding a Tear Stone and one holding The Key.
• Emperor's Realm
  • One can be found on sublevel 2, holding The Key.

Pikmin 3

Areas

• Distant Tundra
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this area. It can be found inside the cave behind the electric gate, near the two Arctic Cannon Larvas and the singular Whiptongue Bulborb. Inside the cave, it is found behind the bamboo gate, sharing the area with the Astringent Clump.

Side Stories

Olimar's Comeback

• Creature Hunting
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this story's area. It is located towards the center of the map, alongside 3 Dwarf Bulbears, and is relatively close to a crystal wall.
• Team Monster Hunt
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this story's area. It can be found in the area where the two Fiery Blowhogs would be found during story mode, towards the northeast of the main segment.
• Looking for Louie
  • There are two Spotty Bulbears in this story's area. They can both be found in the area where the two clipboards (holding multiple Dwarf Orange Bulborbs and bridge fragments) would be in story mode, towards the west of the second main segment.
• Another Part Found
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this story's area. The Bulbear can be found towards the west, in the section where the reinforced wall is blocking alongside two Skutterchucks.

Mission Mode

Collect Treasures!

• Beastly Caverns
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this stage. The Bulbear is located in the western cavern, alongside some Dwarf Bulbears. The Spotty Bulbear holds Louie.

Battle Enemies!

• Thirsty Desert
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this stage. It can be found behind the dirt wall, guarded by 7 Shearwigs, close to the Blue Onion.
• Twilight Hollow
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this stage. It is located in the easternmost part of the area, blocked off by two bamboo gates. The area holds a pile of fragments connecting it to the area containing the Calcified Crushblat.
• Formidable Oak Remix
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear in this stage. It can be found towards the east of the area, blocked off by a dirt wall. The area it patrols holds a dirt mound that contains some bomb rocks.

Bingo Battle

• Arid Metropolis
  • There are two Spotty Bulbears in layout A. They can both be found towards the center of the stage, with one appearing next to the Heroine's Tear and the other appearing next to the Face Wrinkler (encased in a crystal).
• Jigsaw Colosseum
  • There are two Spotty Bulbears in layout B. The first is located slightly south of the westernmost Onion, alongside a pair of Dwarf Bulbears. The second can be found slightly north of the easternmost Onion, alongside another pair of Dwarf Bulbears.

Pikmin 4

Areas

• Giant's Hearth
  • There are three Spotty Bulbears in this area. Two can be found in front of the Line of Logs base patrolling in a circle. The area is surrounded by dried plants, a pile of raw materials, and a clay structure. The third one is located roaming around near The Central Flame base.

Caves

• Kingdom of Beasts
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear on sublevel 5. It is located behind the crystal wall blocking off access to the next sublevel entrance. It will initially be followed by two Dwarf Bulbears and will wander around a small area. It holds 3 Chance Totems.
• Plunder Palace
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear on sublevel 5. It is located at the top of the map near the Sweet Stumble-Not. It is being followed by two Dwarf Bulbears.

Dandori Challenges

Trial of the Sage Leaf

• 1st Story: Bulblaxes
  • There is one Spotty Bulbear found in this story. It is located in the room towards the northwest, directly next to the one holding the Bulborb.

Night expeditions

• Giant's Hearth
  • Line of Logs
    • There are three Spotty Bulbears in the Line of Logs expedition, and they can all be found alongside a pair of Dwarf Bulbears. The first Bulbear is located to the east, close to the northern Dandori Challenge cave entrance. It's near the clay valve. The second Bulbear can be found east of the Tricknoll (at the Abandoned Throne base) and west from where the Slapstick Crescent is discovered. The third and final Bulbear is located south from the Tricknoll, in the section where the two sprinklers are. They are near the iron fence and where the Fiery Dweevil is in the day.
• Primordial Thicket
  • The Sylvan Gate
    • There are four Spotty Bulbears in The Sylvan Gate expedition. The first can be found down the path southeast of the Lumiknoll, leading to the Subterranean Swarm cave entrance. The Bulbear will be slightly east of the cave. The second one is located directly next to The Autumnal Gully base, alongside a trio of Dwarf Bulbears. The third one can be found along the path northeast of the Lumiknoll, with it being below the raised section that holds the Golden Vaulting Table. The final Bulbear can be found in the large section the northern Tricknoll is in, or where the Puffstool's arena is during the day. The Bulbear (as well as three Dwarf Bulbears) can be seen further north, underneath the clay bridge.
