Male Sheargrub/Locations

The following is a list of locations where Male Sheargrubs can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Forest of Hope - Two spawn after day 4.
  • There are four Male Sheargrubs in this area, and they are all located close to each other. They are found within the path between the Whimsical Radar and the Extraordinary Bolt. However, after day four, two more Male Sheargrubs spawn near the stick bridge leading to the Sagittarius.
• The Forest Navel
  • There are seven Male Sheargrubs in this area. Four Sheargrubs can be found down the higher of the two slopes leading to the Puffstool's arena, the slope which is adjacent to the Breadbug's nest and the area the group of Fiery Blowhogs occupy. The final three Sheargrubs are located in the small segment in-between the black bramble gate and the black reinforced wall.

Challenge Mode

• The Final Trial
  • There are three Male Sheargrubs in this challenge mode stage, and they are all found next to each other. The three of them are located directly next to the patch of Figwort near the Blue Onion.

Pikmin 2

Areas

• Awakening Wood - All spawn after day 10
  • There are four Male Sheargrubs in this area, and they all appear after day 10. The first pair of Sheargrubs can be found at the end of the stick bridge connecting the landing site to where the Geographic Projection. They will be on the Geographic Projection's side. The second pair of Sheargrubs are located on the stick bridge near the Air Brake, specifically the one which is not poisonous. The pair will be on the small island between the two bridges.

• Hole of Beasts
  • Four can be seen on sublevel 1.
• White Flower Garden
  • Four can be seen on sublevel 1.
• Snagret Hole
  • Four can be seen on sublevel 1.
  • Five can be seen on sublevel 2.
• Glutton's Kitchen
  • Four can be seen on sublevel 2.
• Hole of Heroes
  • Five can be seen on sublevel 1.

Challenge Mode

• Twilight Garden
  • Four can be seen on sublevel 1, each holding a Love Sphere.
• Cave of Snarls
  • Three can be seen on sublevel 1, each holding a Science Project.
  • Three can be seen on sublevel 2, each holding a Leviathan Feather.
• Rumbling Grotto
  • Three to six can be seen on sublevel 1 depending on the map seed. All the Male Sheargrubs hold a Mirth Sphere.

Pikmin 3

Areas

• Tropical Wilds
  • There are ten Male Sheargrubs in this area, or nine in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. Five Sheargrubs are located in the Flighty Joustmite's cave, underneath the fourth Flukeweed from the left, adjacent to the one the Velvety Dreamdrop is under. Four more Sheargrubs can be found in the section where Alph crashed, they can be found roughly where his KopPad is originally discovered. The final Sheargrub (which does not appear in Pikmin 3 Deluxe) is located on the tree stump in the middle of the large water body, towards the south of the map.
• Twilight River
  • There are three Male Sheargrubs in this area, and they are all found underneath a Flukeweed next to the Burgeoning Spiderwort in the area's second main segment. It's the Flukeweed closer to the Arachnode and further away from the high ledge.
• Formidable Oak
  • There are ten Male Sheargrubs in this area. They can be found in two groups of five towards the south of the area's first main segment, behind the dirt walls and along the curved path.

Side Stories

Olimar's Comeback

• First Part Found
  • There are three Male Sheargrubs in this story's area, and they are all located close to each other. They are all north of the electric gate blocking access to the SPERO, towards the south of the map. They share this space with two Hermit Crawmads.
• Looking for Louie
  • There are two Male Sheargrubs in this story's area, and can all be found close to each other. They are in the area's second main segment, on the plot of land to the east which can be reached by going up the paper bag. They can be found in the small ditch furthest to the south, where the clipboard covering the group of Dwarf Orange Bulborb's would be located in story mode.

• Twilight Hollow Remix
  • There are five Male Sheargrubs in this stage, and they are all located close to each other. They are all on the east side of the stage, slightly north, and adjacent to the large body of water with the lily pads.
• Beastly Caverns
  • There are seven Male Sheargrubs in this stage, and they are all found in the same segment. They can be found in the northern segment, with four being at the bottom of the slope leading to the outside area and three being in-between the dirt wall and the pile of Gold Nuggets.

Battle Enemies!

• Twilight Hollow
  • There are five Male Sheargrubs in this stage, and they are all located close to each other. They can be found on the elevated area to the south, in the corner towards the east which is adjacent to the two bamboo gates.
• Distant Tundra Remix
  • There are ten Male Sheargrubs in this stage. A group of five can be found at the bottom of the hay ramp, near where Alph and the Red Onion are. The other group of five are located east of the Red Onion, across the narrow bridge - which is above the crystal wall - and near a patch of Barrenwort.
• Clockwork Chasm
  • There are twelve Male Sheargrubs in this stage. Two Sheargrubs are located south of the Onion, in a small burrow-like ditch near a Medusal Slurker. The rest of the Sheargrubs are all found in the segment directly west of the Onion, in a larger burrow-like ditch near the line of bomb rocks.

Bingo Battle

• Shaded Terrace
  • There are three Male Sheargrubs in layout A. They are all found adjacent to the dirt wall, on the side where the Face Wrinkler and Stellar Extrusion are on.
  • There are six Male Sheargrubs in layout B. The first three Sheargrubs are located in the middle of the northern path, and the second three Sheargrubs can be found in the middle of the northern path. They will be in between either the Blue Marble and the Dapper Blob, or the Red Marble and the Yellow Marble.
• Twisted Cavern
  • There are six Male Sheargrubs in layout A. The first three Sheargrubs can be found in front of the Zest Bomb (encased in a crystal). The second three Sheargrubs are located in front of the Face Wrinkler (also encased in a crystal). These two fruits are located in the section the two Onions are in.
  • There are eight Male Sheargrubs in layout B. They are all located in the small middle section. The first four Sheargrubs can be found in the pathway connecting the western-section towards this middle section. The second four Sheargrubs are located in the pathway connecting the eastern-section towards the middle section. They are all close to a pack of Desiccated Skitter Leaves.
  • There are eight Male Sheargrubs in layout C. The first four Sheargrubs can be found guarding an alcove in the western-section, towards the north. The second four Sheargrubs are located in the eastern-section, guarding another alcove towards the south. Each group of Sheargrubs are guarding three mines each.
• Rusted Labyrinth
  • There are four Male Sheargrubs in layout B. They can all be found in the middle of the map, with a pair being close to the cyan-Winged sprouts, and the other pair being close to the pink-Winged sprouts.
  • There are eight Male Sheargrubs in layout C. The first four Sheargrubs are located in the small section east from the cyan-colored Onion, the section with the tube slide. The second four Sheargrubs can be found in the other small section west from the pink-colored Onion, which also contains a slide. They will be near the Yellow Marble in the gray tube section, and they will be at the bottom of the yellow tube section.
• Blooming Terrace
  • There are eight Male Sheargrubs in layout B. The first four Sheargrubs can be found towards the north-west of the map, slightly north-east from the cyan-colored Onion. The second four Sheargrubs are located towards the south-east, slightly south-west from the pink-colored Onion. They are each near two Pellet Posies.
  • There are five Male Sheargrubs in layout C. They can all be found guarding the alcove in the middle, towards either the north or the south. It is the alcove which contains the Sunseed Berry, and the Insect Condo.
• Buried Pond
  • There are two Male Sheargrubs in layout A. The first Sheargrub is located underneath a Flukeweed in the section with the cyan-colored Onion. It's under the Flukeweed closest to the bamboo gate. The second Sheargrub can be found under another Flukeweed in the pink-colored Onion's section. It will be under the Flukeweed closest to the other bamboo gate as well.

Pikmin 4

Areas

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • There are seven Male Sheargrubs in this area. Two Sheargrubs can be found guarding the pile of 23 raw materials towards the north of the area, slightly west of the Flarlic. Three more Sheargrubs are located at the base of the clay bridge requiring 39 raw materials to the north of the map. The final two Sheargrubs can be found towards the south of the map, along the slope east of the 'Meandering Slope' base.

Caves

• Last-Frost Cavern
  • There are two Male Sheargrubs on this cave's only sublevel. The pair of Sheargrubs are located in the middle of the large, square-shaped section of the sublevel, where the Refreshing Goo and pile of 10 raw materials are discovered.

Night expeditions

• Hero's Hideaway
  • Foot of the Stairs
    • There are twenty six Male Sheargrubs in the Foot of the Stairs expedition. Nine Sheargrubs can be found on the purple-checkered carpet in-between the table and gray sofa, circling the Smoky Progg's egg. Three more Sheargrubs are located on the floor east of the sofa, on the paper drawing of a train track. The next four Sheargrubs can be found on the sofa itself. Eight Sheargrubs are located underneath the table. The final two more Sheargrubs are located on the stairs north of the Lumiknoll, one on each step.

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • There are four Male Sheargrubs in this tale's area. They are located in groups of two near the 'Ancient Arches' base. Two are found guarding the Yellow Onion, north of the base, and the other two are found guarding the Whimsical Radar, south-west of the base.
