Puffy Blowhog/Locations

The following is a list of locations where Puffy Blowhogs can be found.

Pikmin

Areas

• The Distant Spring - One spawns after day 4.
  • There are four Puffy Blowhogs in this area, with one of them spawning after day 4. The first Puffy Blowhog can be found adjacent to the landing site, towards the west with it being closer to the Red Onion. This is the Puffy Blowhog that spawns after day 4. Once the Puffy Blowhog has been defeated, it takes 5 days for it to respawn. The next two Puffy Blowhogs are located in the section slightly northeast of the landing site, beyond the black reinforced wall, alongside some Spotty Bulbears. The first one is near the black reinforced wall and the second one is further north, close to the Chronos Reactor. The Puffy Blowhog further south will never respawn once it's been defeated, and the Puffy Blowhog further north will respawn after 5 days once defeated. Additionally, after day 15, the Puffy Blowhog closer to the black reinforced wall will disappear and is replaced by a few Dwarf Bulbears. The final Puffy Blowhog can be found towards the south of the area, in the body of water past the Smoky Progg's egg. It holds the Interstellar Radio, and once defeated it never respawns.

Challenge Mode

• The Distant Spring
  • There are two Puffy Blowhogs in this challenge mode stage. The first Puffy Blowhog is located directly west from the landing site, just past the Puffstool and near the body of water the stick bridge is found. The second Puffy Blowhog can be found north from the landing site, inside the largest of the few tree trunks. This is where the Armored Cannon Beetle would be found during Story Mode.

Pikmin 2

Caves

• Glutton's Kitchen
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3.
• Cavern of Chaos
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 7, with one holding the Impenetrable Cookie.
• Hole of Heroes
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3.
• Dream Den
  • Two can be seen on sublevel 7, with one holding the Essence of Desire.

Challenge Mode

• Novice Training
  • One can be seen on sublevel 2, holding The Key.
• Cave of Snarls
  • One can be seen on sublevel 1, holding the Petrified Heart.

Pikmin 3

Areas

• Twilight River
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in this area, and it can be found towards the north-western part of the first main segment. It is near the cave entrance surrounded by multiple Spotcaps and the large tin can holding 4 bomb rocks.

Side Stories

Olimar's Comeback

• Team Monster Hunt
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in this story's area. It can be found towards the east, just past the electric gate on Louie's portion of the map. The Puffy Blowhog is relatively close to where the Face Wrinkler would be discovered during Story Mode.

Mission Mode

Collect Treasures!

• Twilight Hollow
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in this stage, and it is located in an alcove towards the west. This alcove also holds a few Winged Pikmin sprouts. The Puffy Blowhog contains 4 Insect Condos.

Battle Enemies!

• Fortress of Festivity
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in this stage, and it can be found directly south from the Master Onion. It is in a small section on the eastern part of the stage.

Bingo Battle

• Sandbox Kingdom
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in layout B. It spawns in the center of the stage, near the Slapstick Crescent and Zest Bomb.

Pikmin 4

Caves

• Drafty Gallery
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog on sublevel 4. It is located directly north from the S.S. Beagle, and it holds a castaway. Defeating it lowers the numbered gate, giving access to the Sphere of Family and the exit fan.
• Plunder Palace
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog on sublevel 5. It can be found on top of the table accessible from the floating platform.
• Ultimate Testing Range
  • There are two Puffy Blowhogs on sublevel 3. The first Blowhog is located on the opposite side of ring-shaped segment the S.S. Beagle initially lands. The second Blowhog can be found near the cardboard box and the leafling castaway, east from the base.
• Cradle of the Beast
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog on sublevel 1. It is located east from the base, on the high platform blocked off by a dirt wall and some dried plants. This area also holds a pile of Gold Nugget and a Scorchcake.

Dandori Challenges

• Aerial Incinerator
  • There is one Puffy Blowhog in this challenge. It can be found in the oval-shaped section east from the base. The section holds the Harmonic Synthesizer in the southern-most part.

Night expeditions

• Blossoming Arcadia
  • Sunwashed Plateau
    • There are two Puffy Blowhogs in the Sunwashed Plateau expedition. The first Puffy Blowhog can be found south from the Lumiknoll, on the raised section where the two Burgeoning Spiderworts would be during the day. The second Puffy Blowhog is located near the northern Tricknoll. It is east of the Tricknoll, near the body of water alongside a Joustmite and multiple Desiccated Skitter Leaves.
• Serene Shores
  • Blossoming Dunes
    • There are four Puffy Blowhogs in the Blossoming Dunes expedition. The first Puffy Blowhog can be found in the section behind the dirt wall, east of the base. This is the section the two Chance Totems are discovered. The second Puffy Blowhog is located on the small, raised platform the Dandori Battle entrance is found; near the clay bridge. The third Puffy Blowhog is located north of the previous one, on a raised platform adjacent to where the Lamp of Inspiration and pile of 33 raw materials are discovered. The fourth and final Puffy Blowhog is found adjacent to the Water's Edge base, where the Bright Sword is discovered.

Olimar's Shipwreck Tale

• Sun-Speckled Terrace
  • There are two Puffy Blowhogs in this tale's area. The first Puffy Blowhog is located towards the east, on the island accessed from the clay bridge costing 34 raw material. It holds the Ionium Jet. The second Puffy Blowhog can be found south from the initial base, on the raised platform where the Nova Blaster is discovered.
