The following article or section is in need of assistance from someone who plays Pikmin 3. |
The Dandelion (タンポポ?, lit.: "Dandelion"), although an all-too-common weedy plant in the real world, is somewhat rare in the Pikmin games, appearing in only two overworld locations, one cave, and seven challenge mode levels. Dandelions are used merely for scenery and do not affect gameplay. Seeding Dandelions can also be found in the series, but only affect gameplay in Hey! Pikmin. The Dandelion is among the few organisms in the Pikmin series named after its real world counterpart.
In Pikmin 3, Dandelions evolve from each passing day from bud, to flower, to finally a Seeding Dandelion.
