Main article: Dandelion.

The Dandelion is a rare, yellow-petaled plant in the first two Pikmin games. It only appears on The Forest of Hope, the Awakening Wood and the Snagret Hole, as well as some Challenge Mode locations. It serves merely for decoration.

Main article: Seeding Dandelion.

The Seeding Dandelion is a plant in Pikmin 2, Pikmin 3, and Hey! Pikmin. In the 3D games, it is even rarer than the Dandelion, appearing only on the Perplexing Pool and the Sniper Room. If it's touched, some of its seeds detach and float away. In Hey! Pikmin, it is much smaller, and Pikmin that touch it stop walking and jump in, until the player whistles them again. Seeds nearly identical to the Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3 versions can also be seen in cutscenes.
