The Courage Emblem is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a playing card of hearts. The number on it is part of the code to the safe in Hero's Hideaway, so it is randomly generated for each playthrough and is different from the number of the Love Emblem, which is also a playing card of hearts.

Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Courage Emblem is on the second step of the stepladder on the central northern spot of the Hero's Hideaway. To collect this treasure, you must command Oatchi to wait at the airstream button on the table, while you navigate through two different sets of fans, alternating the current as needed. Then, drop down one step, and throw 1 Pikmin at it. It is advised that you drop both climbing ropes before dropping down from the third and second steps.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

This symbol looks like a container of some sort...perhaps one that contains life itself. I get a sense of vitality from it...almost as if the more of these you have, the more power you have to overcome adversity. But be careful. I'm sure they're not easy to obtain.

Olimar's notes[edit]

Some might look at this and see a symbol for life, but this treasure better represents courage. The two are closely related, of course. Power and wisdom also have roles to play, but without the courage to take that first step...your journey cannot begin!

Louie's notes[edit]

The symbols remind me of Mock Bottoms. I'm hungry again.

Trivia[edit]

  • This treasure, as well as the Power Emblem and Wisdom Emblem, are not only the three treasures needed to open Olimar's bunker in the Hero's Hideaway, but also all happen to represent the three parts of the Triforce in the Legend of Zelda series: Power, Courage, and Wisdom.
    • Furthermore, Schnauz's notes suggest the heart symbol reminds him of a Heart Container from The Legend of Zelda.
  • The pairing of the Love Emblem alongside the Courage Emblem may be a reference to the Love and Courage Reactor, the Japanese version of the Courage Reactor.
