Numbered gate
Because this subject has no official name, the name "Numbered gate" is conjectural. |
Numbered gates are gates in Pikmin 4 that open once a certain number of enemies have been defeated. They are made of metal and have a dot-matrix display for showing a 2-digit number. This number will count the number of enemies on the sublevel or in a section of the sublevel, so when an enemy is defeated, it will count down by 1. Once the number reaches 0, the gate will move down into the ground, allowing the player to pass. In some stories of the Trial of the Sage Leaf, numbered gates count the number of treasures collected instead of the number of enemies defeated.
