The S.S. Chocolate (宇宙船ショコラ号?, lit.: "Spaceship Chocolate") is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is a vanilla-flavored macaron with a chocolate buttercream filling, with beaded sprinkles on the buttercream. It is found twice in Story Mode. Once in the Crackling Cauldron, on top of a ledge, and the other in the Hero's Hideaway, on the kitchen table.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Crackling Cauldron

There is an S.S. Chocolate located on top of a block of bricks near the exit of the second sublevel of the Crackling Cauldron, right next to a Cookie of Nibbled Circles. Simply throw 3 Yellow Pikmin at the treasure to get it down. The fastest way to retrieve them is to move the base to the location behind the block of bricks, though that requires defeating the nearby Scorchcake, as well as the hidden Shearwig for safety. Instead, the Pikmin can take the treasure back through the southern door of the room, but the sizzling floor right next to the starting base must be cleared. Finally, the Pikmin can instead carry through the tunnel at the center of the sublevel if the nearby dirt wall has been destroyed. Regardless of path, the Pikmin will ignore the sizzling floor right next to the block of bricks, so you do not need to destroy it.

Hero's Hideaway

There is an S.S. Chocolate on a ceramic plate next to an S.S. Peppermint on the kitchen table on the northern half of the Hero's Hideaway. To collect it, you must throw 3 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

It was this adorable ship's yummy smell that lured me in. Then, suddenly, I was taking a bite. Lo and behold, I found the ship to be...edible! In fact, it's chocolate flavored! I'm still not quite sure what to make of this discovery. All I know is...it's a DELICIOUS one.

Olimar's notes

My wife and I have been together for a long while, but our relationship has never been as perfectly poised as this cake. Maybe it's because I'm always flying around space and she's at home, trying to keep things together. Hmm... We really are due for a date night.

Louie's notes

The touch of bitterness makes it that much easier to eat.
