Unlike the members of the opposing gender, Female Sheargrubs are scavengers and do not attack the Captains or Pikmin. Their behavior, along with their light pink color and relatively small jaws, is the most distinctive difference between males and females of the species. As with Male Sheargrubs, however, they eat bridges that were built on a previous day.

Killing strategies
Female Sheargrubs are harmless and can be defeated with ease by either the Pikmin or Olimar. There is no threat at all. Leading them into water will also deplete their health.
