Hydro jellies (水こんにゃく?, lit.: "Water konjac") are a new type of obstacle in Pikmin 4. They resemble a glob of translucent blue gelatinous material, and can be found in mounds of different sizes. These obstacles require Ice Pikmin to clear; first, the player must freeze the hydro jelly with Ice Pikmin. Once it is frozen, other Pikmin types and Oatchi will be able to destroy it.
