The Whiptongue Bulborb is an enemy first appearing in Pikmin 3. It is a member of the Grub-dog family, but is different from the others in that it has a long tongue that it uses to slurp up Pikmin. Its tongue can catch up to 5 Pikmin at once, somewhat like the Emperor Bulblax, but less destructive.
