Also in [[Pikmin 1]], they have 3 times as much health as other [[Grub-dog]] variants, just like their parents, so throwing a Pikmin on their back removes only a third of their health. How to Kill

Pikmin

If you have a lot of Pikmin, swarm it and it should die before eating any Pikmin. If not, throw them onto it, then call them back immediately. This creature can cause the Crushing Glitch when defeated.

Run around it and swat it until it's dead, avoiding its attack.
