The Sun-Speckled Terrace (ひだまりの庭?, lit.: "Courtyard of Sunlight") is the first main area in Pikmin 4. It resembles a garden with many pots and bricks. Ice Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin and Blue Pikmin can be discovered in this area. There are 7 rescues to be made, 34 treasures (14 above ground), and 2 Onions.

- As part of the playable terrain:
- Various grassy and dirt terrain.
- A wooden park bench with metal legs and armrests, though the top of the armrests have a wood slab attached.
