The Waddlepus sits idly and is generally passive. However, once Pikmin are in its line of sight, it will inflate its back and blow bubbles everywhere, which will encase your Pikmin, sending them floating away until they pop. You can pop the bubbles prematurely by throwing a Pikmin at them. When attacked, it will slowly waddle around, and inflate to shake off the Pikmin.

Once inflated, the Waddlepus can then shoot out a stream of bubbles from either its mouth or from its pores on its back. These bubbles do not harm Pikmin, but rather trap them and captains inside. The bubbles can be popped by throwing a Pikmin at them.

The Waddlepus is an enemy encountered in the game Pikmin 3. Waddlepi are small, purple octopus-like creatures with several yellow pores covering their back. They have green eyes and small O-shaped mouth that hides a large yellow pore. The Waddlepus is also an aquatic enemy and can be encountered underwater as well as on land.
