The Medusal Slurker is an enemy from Pikmin 3. It was the first enemy fightable in the E3 Demo. It appears to use its under-appendage to snatch Pikmin. It bears great resemblance to Jellyfloats. It drops Rock Pikmin in the Demo.[1] It has a polka dot pattern on its membrane and singular eye to determine its direction, with makes it easier to attack than Jellyfloats, being able to see if its alerted or not.
It takes 7 Pikmin to carry and is worth 15 pokos.
Trivia
- The Medusal Slurker appears to be able to turn other Pikmin it absorbs into Rock Pikmin. Therefore, its name may be a reference to Medusa in greek mythology who turned humans into stone.
- Its name could also be a reference to the adult stage of the realworld Jellyfish, which is also called Medusa.
